After standing and letting myself remember how to operate my own body I walked with Severus. We had to sneak around but he took mt back into the potions classroom. Once there he closed and locked the door after letting go of my hand.

"Why'd you lock it?" I asked, noticing this. The last time a teacher locked a door with only the two of us inside things almost went very bad. Not that I thought Severus would ever do that, but I was still paranoid.

"Well, Lockheart is supposedly going into the Chamber of Secrets. And if he is that buffoon could cause immense damage. Your safest place is here with me." He explained to me, "Do you have any recollection of how long you were petrified?"

"I was conscious for most of it." I smiled lightly and paced over to Severus' desk. "I enjoyed our one-sided conversations." I looked up at him and he seemed to get flustered.

"Do you remember everything that happened?" He asked as he made his way over to him. I took a few steps towards him and we met together, being very close.

"I do." I smiled up at him. I put my hands in his softly. "I remember all of it. I remember hearing you tell me you were sorry... and in my head I was screaming that it wasn't your fault. That I forgave you..." I trailed off, thinking back to how trapped I felt.

"Y/N..." He said, trying to pull me out of my stupor.

"But of all things, I remember you kissing my head every night, and I remember how much I wanted to kiss you back." I looked into his eyes. I felt complete in the moment, but at the same instance my heart was leaping out of my chest and my stomach felt like it was tying itself in the same knot perpetually. "It was those kisses... that helped me keep track. That didn't make me feel alone."

His hands found their way to my waist, which took me by surprised. I had to rely on him to help hold me up. My cheeks flushed, but my hands thought for themselves. One hand settled itself at the crook of Severus' neck, while the other stayed on the back of his head.

"I'd like to kiss you, Y/n."

"Then let's kiss."

My whole body moved on its own and before I knew it, my lips crashed onto his in a passionate, but soft lock of love. It was something so innocent it was never even spoken, but yet here we both were. I moved my lips against his slowly, both of us became very gentle. Though his hands kept a firm hold on my hips and my fingers were braided into his hair, which I was right. His hair is soft.

Eventually, I pulled away, but I kept myself close. I looked forwards at his chest out of embarrassment and chuckled. When I got my composure I looked up at him to see him smiling. A real and proper smile on his face, and I felt every bit of my being light up with happiness.

"Y/n, I..." His smile didn't go, but he seemed at a loss for words.

"I know." I caressed his cheek with my thumb, feeling his surprisingly soft skin underneath it. "Severus?"

"Yes, Y/n?" He asked, his smile beginning to fade naturally.

"Can I have my wand now?"

"Yes, of course." Severus let go of me and as he pulled away I let my hands fall to my sides. He went over to the door that I never got to see the other side of and opened it. I slowly trailed behind him and entered his chambers. I looked around the room and it looked much like I had anticipated and pictured many times in my head.

On one side of the room was a quaint bed with back sheets. Enough room for tossing and turning, and certainly enough room for two. In the middle, a large bookshelf lined the wall, filled with even more books. carper covered the floor and on top of that was a couch and then a cushioned armchair that looked like it was used the most. On the other end was a small cooking area, much like Lockheart's. Except there was a cauldron in the middle of the kitchen-like space.

I looked around the room, even more, realising the entire room smelled like Snape. If felt like I was stepping into a part of his personality as well.

Naturally I let my feet carry me over to the bookshelf and I again looked over the books. I saw another, much newer copy of "The Lovers" and picked it up. I never got to finish reading it.

I felt a heat behind me and presumed it was Severus. I turned to see him holding out my wand for me to take, in which I did and put it in my pocket. In turn, he took the book from me. He opened it, skimming the pages.

"Where did you leave off?" He said glancing up at me.

"Page ninety-four I believe," I said, peering down at the book. Severus walked away from me, leaving me a tad confused. I watched him walk over to the bed and sit down, leaning against the headboard and putting his legs up on the bed. I looked at him curiously for a few seconds ad he flipped a few pages in the book.

"Well, aren't you going to join me?" He asked quite plainly.

Meekly, I made my way over and got into his bed next to him. I sat next to him, close enough so that I could see the book too.

He began to read to me, luckily it was one of the tame parts of the book. The satin-like quality of his voice lulling me into a sleep.
