Error grumbled to himself, not wanting this conversation so early in the morning... but it had to be done now or Mare would throw a fit when he found.
His hand raised and made contact with the door, three soft knocks echoing throughout the hall. The sound of bed springs was enough to tell Error that he'd probably waken Mare up, luckily he was a favorite.
The door opened and out walked Mare, closing the door behind him. His eye was drooped with sleepiness and a slight yawn tugging at his mouth. "Good morning Error, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Sarcasm, he wanted to sleep in, Error doesn't blame him.
"Dream came to me last night." Error spoke up.
Mare's face lost its sleepiness and he perked, "Oh, did he now?"
Error nodded, "Night has disappeared."
The dark skeleton's expression fell and was quickly replaced with one of anger and concern, "You mean to tell me that Dream lost Night? People don't just disappear Error!"
"I know, I know!" Error spoke up, "My question is... what are we going to do?"
Mare snarled at nothing in particular, "Wake the others, tell them the situation... we're heading to Dreamtale."
Error nodded and left without another word, Mare returned to his room. The door slammed shut with anger, rattling the frame.
"Fuck! I shouldn't have left him alone!" Mare sneered at himself, he wanted to punch something but would much rather not deal with a hole in his wall. "I'm a fucking dumbass!"
His tentacles clashing behind him, waving and hitting each other only to melt together and break apart. Mare was seething with unadulterated rage, the urge to kill something was digging at him but he shoved it down, refusing to take his anger out of someone.
He growled and his cyan eye finally landed on on the blue flower that sat on nightstand. A wave of calm washed over him, relaxing his rage minimally. He reached and tapped its petal gently, hearing the message repeat making butterflies flutter wildly in his nonexistent stomach.
He clutched his chest, hand right over his corrupted soul, and inhaled deeply. Another wave of calmness, he needed to stay relaxed for Night. Night was priority at the moment and priority he would remain until Mare was assured he was safe.

One step out the portal and a staff was already pointed at was already pointed at the tall skeletons face.
A growl echoed behind Mare, he could only assume that it was possibly coming from Horror. Mare only looked at Dream with and unamused glare, pushing the staff away from his face. "Don't be like that."
"You shouldn't be here... why are you here?!"
Mare laughed mockingly at that, "Oh shouldn't I... and you spoke with Error last night... you know exactly why I'm here."
"Night isn't here, I checked every inch of this AU." Dream hissed. At this point, people in the village began to come out of their homes wondering what the fuss was about.
Mare's mouth pulled into a scowl, eye narrowing sharply. "I'll be the judge of that..." Mare's eye shot towards the growing crowd, a warning snarl hissing from the back of his throat as he struck eye contact with Dream. "Error, Cross... search the AU for Night's soul. Horror, Dust, Killer, search the village. I want this place turned upside down and come back immediately whenever you find something. Don't hurt anyone to bad."
The five glanced to each other before nodding. The trio marched their way into the village while Error and Cross stayed by Mare's side. Cross summoned his knife, lodging it into the ground causing a wave a of red to take over the AU.
Cross sneered at his failure, "Night's not in my radius."
Mare nodded, his gaze slightly sympathetic. He glanced to Error who shot his strings out, the blue wires shooting out only to grab hold of nothing. "He's not here."
The look on Mare's face darkened and he growled, "People don't disappear without a trace. Those three will find something, I'm sure of it."
Dream glared at the three, "Why are you so keen on finding Night?"
Cross shot Dream a glare, "The question is, why aren't you?! Night's not even my brother but I'm already doing my best to find him."
Dream was taken aback, Cross had an extremely valid point. "I..."
"Quiet." Mare cut him off without a second thought. "Your bother needs you and you don't even bother to look for him, helpless."
Dream frowned, "Last time I checked you wanted nothing to do with Dreamtale."
Mare huffed, "That has clearly changed."

Night watched Lust cook breakfast with curious eyes, having to be smaller than Blue he needed to be on his tippy toes in order to see. Lust smiled at him, giggling as he watched Night jump when the bacon grease sputtered. "Are you sure you don't want to eat Night?"
Night nodded his head. "N..No need to." He spoke with a quiet voice. Lust nodded in understanding.
"I see, does that mean you don't feel hungry?"
Night nodded softly, eyes darting to the toaster when the toast popped out.
Lust went to grab it while maintaining the conversation, "Does that mean you don't feel full as well?"
Night nodded once again and Lust hummed in thought, "Why would you eat then?"
Night paused for a moment, "Taste..."
"I see, what's your favorite food?"
Night lit up up the question, "St..Strawberry cake!"
Lust let out a small laugh at that, he'd make a mental note, maybe even ask Blue to pick up some while he's in Underswap.
Night grinned at him obliviously when Lust slid Night a small piece of toast. He didn't fight back about not needing to eat, instead he munched on the toast enjoying the taste of grape jelly.
Lust chuckled, placing a gentle hand on his stomach, right over his bump. Night took notice and tilted his head.
Lust hummed in realization, "I am pregnant Night, it's not rude to ask a skeleton that you know."
Night nodded but his head remained tilted and the expression he held was kinda sad, upset almost.
"Have you tried getting pregnant Night?" Lust asked softly.
Night shook his head at that, "No... b..but through experience... I don't..."
Lust stopped him, "You don't think you can have kids?"
Night nodded.
Lust hummed in thought, "Had it been with other skeletons or a different monster?"
"Huh?"
Lust smiled, "We skeletons can only have kids with other skeletons, not to mention we have to be in our girly bodies for a few days before hand to kick start things."
Night's somber expression turning into a slight smile, he had hope.
((I wanted to end this on a happy note))
