Chapter 49
I was staring at them.
I was back on my track when I heard Chelsea's voice.
I wasn't on my mood." Sumimangot silang dalawa sa sagot ko.
They were so excited for the tomorrow but I couldn't find the excitement. Actually, they stay here for tonight dahil maaga kaming aalis papuntang Batangas bukas.
I shook my head.
I nodded. "Ay, shuta!"
"Why don't you just text or chat him? For sure, hindi ka naman matitiis non." I heaved a deep sigh.
I wish I could just do it easily but I knew it was hard. He wasn't bothered to text me for weeks. I tried to check his social media account but he deactivated. He's ignoring me and I don't have the guts to invite him to a vacation with my family after all.
Nauna silang bumaba while I fixed myself a little. I washed my face with a warm water then I put my hair into a bun.
"Talaga? Hayaan mo ipagluluto kita ulit niyan kapag dumalaw ka dito."
I make a seat near at Aileen. I wasn't in my mood to eat pero hindi ko pinahalata kila Mom dahil ayokong sirain yung gabing 'to.
Aileen just stopped eating upon hearing Mom's question.
"My parents went to a business trip in Japan so basically, I will celebrate Christmas alone. I was thankful that you invited me po."
"No problem. You're always welcome."
I manage to eat my meal quietly.
"How's your study, Rio?" Dad asks out of nowhere. I just chewed my food before answering him.
"Doing great, Dad." I cocked my head to the side. "After vacation break was final exam."
"Do you have any plans to take the examination abroad?" Para akong nabulunan sa tanong na 'yon. Aileen and Chelsea looked at me in disbelief. I never told them about those things. I just want to keep it as a secret.
