Chapter 45 (Part 2)
He glared at me. "Yeah. Beautiful."
Inirapan ko siya. His lips slowly forming a lazy smile.
"Let me guide you." He offered his hand. We both walked through the table that was placed there.
The place was breath taking.
Tahimik kaming umupo doon at nagsimulang kumain. He get the glass of wine in front of me. Nagsalin siya ng red wine doon.
I was staring at him while he's doing that. It felt like all the dreams I had for years were finally coming true. Before I was dreaming what was the feeling of dating him and now it all happen. Before I was contented on watching him on the court while he's playing basketball. I secretly admire him at kung hindi dahil sa prank na 'yon, I won't be here in front of the man I admire before. Parang nagbunga lahat ng ginawa ko!
"Eat," he smiled.
I would've interpreted in a thousand different ways if I weren't too preoccupied by the fact that Mark was looking at me in the eyes.
This was his effect on me.
"Hindi mo ba gusto yung niluto ko?" tanong niya ng mapansin na hindi ko ginagalaw yung pagkain sa harap ko.
"Of course not."
My heart. It was beating so fast.
"Sorry," sabi niya habang umiiwas ng tingin sa'kin. "I know that I promised you a dinner--a perfect one. Nangako ako na babawi ako sa'yo but I disappoint you again. I'm sorry if I wouldn't gave you what I promised--"
"Kanina ka pa sorry ng sorry. Hindi mo kasalanan 'yon, okay?" I cupped his faced to meet his eyes. "This dinner. It's more than what I could wish for. Kahit nga street foods lang kainin natin okay na sa'kin, e. I don't need a perfect dinner, Mark. This is enough...more than enough."
He smiled.
I smell his chocolate scent when he gently wear the necklace that was made with gold and diamond. When I opened it, on the right side, it has picture of me and his picture on the left side. May naka-imprentang initial namin pareho.
"That was my gift for you," he said. "Matagal na 'yan. I was about to gave that the last time when I wasn't able to come for our dinner. Pero ngayon ko lang naibigay."
I bit my lower lip without looking at his eyes.
I didn't control the tears that was forming in my eyes. I was happy... Beyond happy.
"Thank you." I whispered.

Tahimik kaming pinagmamasdan ang ganda ng kalangitan. Yung mga bituin at buwan. Sobrang swerte namin dahil nagkataong madaming stars ngayong gabi.
It was beautiful.
The stars always gave me a melancholic feeling everytime I looked at them but it was different this time... it was different because I'm with Mark.
We cuddled each other. We're just enjoying the silence... We're just enjoying the beautiful view.
A small smile was plastered in his eyes while he was looking at the view.
"Mark..." I call his name.
Napatingin siya sa'kin.
"Madalas ka dito?"
He nodded. "Honestly, ngayon ko na lang ulit nagawa 'to,"Huminga siya ng malalim bago nagpatuloy. "Simula ng mamatay si Dad hindi ko na ulit naranasan mag-star gazing. Pero dati, madalas. We often went here every night with Mom and Ate. We spend the rest of our night eating, talking and looking at the beautiful galaxy."
He smiled bitterly.
"I wished that he was here. Sana proud siya sa'kin."
"Of course," I sincerely looked at his eyes. He has alot of sacrifices. He go through alot. "I know that he's proud of you."
"Alam kong malaki yung kasalanan niya kay Mom but it doesn't changed the fact that I really missed him. I really do."
Stars, moon or anything that was connected to galaxy always help me to overcome my frustration. Tuwing tumitingin kasi ako doon parang gumagaan yung pakiramdam ko.
"Alam kong kahit nasaan man siya ngayon... masaya siya. And for sure, even if he wasn't physically there, binabantayan niya kayo from above." Itinuro ko yung puso niya. "Palagi siyang nand'yan."
He gave me a genuine smile.
"May meteor shower!" Halos mapatayo ako ng makita mismo ng dalawa kong mata yung meteor. It was first time to see that.
"Let's make a wish." I told him.
"What?"
"Sabi nila kapag nakakita ka daw ng meteor shower... just make a wish and it will be true."
He shrugged. "That's not true."
"Ang KJ mo naman! Just make a wish. Wala namang mawawala kung gagawin natin, e."
"Tss."
I close our eyes and he eventually do the same. I cross my two fingers before making a wish.
'I wish we could just stay like this forever'
"What is your wish?" He asked.
"Secret," I said, but his stares were so sharp that it could cut my skin.
"Ikaw? Anong wish mo?"
"Wala."
"Huh? W-Wala?" He nodded.
"Bakit wala kang wish?"
"Because I already got what I wish for." He was staring at me... and I stared back.
I bit my lower lip to stop myself from smiling so wildly because he just made my heart flutter so bad.
"I have you."
