Chapter Five: *fun stuff pt.1*

"Penny, no"

"I'm sorry, we just got a case"

"Ugh" Amy mumbled, as she took one last bite off her cookie.

"These were really good, sunshine" comforted her lovingly Penelope, pointing at the now semi-empty plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies.

"I know, that's why it hurts so much" complained Amy, closing her eyes, filled with pain.

"We really gotta go, don't we?"

"Unfortunately, yes, yeah I think so" Penny put a definitive end to Watching all of Brad Pitt's movies to determine which one he looks the best in night.

Penny was all ready to go, Amy on the other hand was still wearing the clothes she had while baking the cookies. She quickly put on a long sleeved white shirt and a sweater vest with reddish patterns on it. She put on her socks with hearts, oversized khaki jeans and her bright green coat.

"Let's go Penny"

"Spence" asked Amy for his attention.

"Mmh" an absent-minded Dr. Reid responded.

"What did the brother say, you know, when you asked him about the influence his sister's death had on him?"

"Losing Britney, it's so hard, I can't, she's always been here, and now she's not, at night whatever I do, I try not to fall asleep, so that I don't dream he-"

"Okay, okay, stop. And what did he say when you asked him if he'd heard anything?"

"I didn't hear anything, I wish I did, at least I would know, but again, in space no one can hear you scream, so may-" Spencer was terribly confused and he didn't know where she was going with this.

"Okay, what about when you asked him to take all her paintings he had there?"

"All of them? All? Those are gonna be a lot. You're gonna need a bigger car. Let me go and g-"

"SPENCE!", Spencer wasn't following Amy's reasoning.

"Think about the way the victims were killed" she tried to push him toward the solution.

"Chainsaw, stabbed multiple times, axe"

"Yeah, for example, think about the stabbing, where did it happen?"

"In the show- IN THE SHOWER!" Spencer finally understood.

"YEAH, IN THE SHOWER"

"He's a horror movie enthusiast and he fits the profile perfectly"

"AND he uses horror movie quotes to speak"

"How did I not pick up on this? I'm gonna call Hotch"

"Hey hey" Amy asked him to wait with a look, as she stretched her hand towards him in a fist.

"I'm- I'm confused, are we supposed to fist bump?"

"Yeah we're supposed to fist bump! We just cracked this case. Come on, Doc". Reid smiled at Amy's friendly request and the two's knuckles touched. Spence smiled widely.

"I'm gonna call Hotch" said Spencer brought back to reality, with his beaming pretty face.

"Dream team, Spence" joked Amy while Spencer was walking away.

"Dream team, Ames" Spencer hesitated before turning around and smiled yet again at his friend.

Amy was listening to some Julie London while looking out of the window, but as it sometimes happened to her, she got the sudden urge to do something, so she decided to do it. She left her headphones on the jet table and went to sit in front of Spence's seat, who was (to everyone's surprise) reading a book. She was glad the seat was empty.
