Tony then turned his head to the other two, "what was so funny before they entered?"

Both of them rose their brows, forgetting their conversation, but then they both chuckled as they remembered.

"I'm gonna let Bucky explain that one..." He ran out the room and slammed the door shut when the man threw something at his head.

"Steven!" Bucky yelled, not wanting Tony to know about it.

Tony laughed slightly at that, but then he turned to Bucky expectantly. The man shifted under his gaze and sighed. "Tony... listen." Tony started to get worried the man was breaking up with him, but then he rose a brow when he heard what was next. "This doesn't mean I want you stop being friends with him, talking to him, or anything... I just..."

Tony was completely confused now, "who are you talking about Bucky?"

The man dragged his hands over his face, not wanting to have this conversation with him, "Steve." Bucky looked at the floor, suddenly becoming more interesting than looking at the man in front of him.

Tony was still confused, "what about him?"

Bucky sighed, "Tony..." He cursed himself for being so nervous around him and he hated the fact that he couldn't talk or think properly around him.

Tony noticed how tense Bucky was so he moved closer to him and hugged him, rubbing his hands up and down his back hoping the action soothed the man. "It's okay Bucky... I'm right here."

Bucky let out deep breaths, wrapping his arms around him and starting to calm down. "I'm told I have to talk about emotions and quite frankly I'm not that good at it." Tony chuckled at that, making Bucky smile.

The genius held him closer, looking up at him, "it's okay, I don't mind." Tony moved away and dragged the man to the bed. He made the man lay down and he followed suite. He snuggled up to him and hummed as the man wrapped his arms around him.

"Tony... I know that he doesn't look at you like that anymore, and I know you don't look at him like that anymore either, but I just can't help thinking that I'm just sec-" Bucky gulped when the man clamped a hand over his mouth and gave him a stern look.

"Why do you think those kinds of things?" Tony sounded pained.

Bucky took a deep breath, "because... how could I not?... you two broke up because of me and now you're dating me, it makes it seem like this was all just some kind of game you two planned... a long, long, long game and all because I hit on you to make Steve jealous."

Tony let out a little cry when he heard this. How this man could ever think he would do something like that hurt him, it made him sick. Tony sat up and refused to look at him, "why do you keep thinking that?"

Bucky was confused, "how could I not?... I broke you two up and then I started dating you... I'm a terrible person and the fact that you're with me makes me think that it is some kind of trick. No way that with all of the things that I did, I would get a guy like you after I made you and Steve break up... good things don't happen to me... they don't last - so how could I not?"

Tony got up, he couldn't listen to this. He didn't want to hear this man think so low of himself. "I would never do that to you Bucky, never! You're not a terrible person, you're not a monster, and you're not a killer... you're Bucky Barnes and I love you!" He looked back at the man now, crying slightly, "why would you ever think that the only reason I would date you is because of sex or because I'm just using you for some kind of trick?" He was pacing, angry that this man believed the things others told him over his own words. "I don't know how you could ever think so low of yourself, stoop to that level of thinking that that's all I want from you! Why? Tell me any and every reason that made you come to this conclusion, think these terrible things, and actually start to believe them so I could change it immediately."
