The team was lounging around the living room and kitchen when the noise started to blare, making some fall off their seats but all of them clamped their ears shut.

Steve cried out and raced out of the compound, far away from the noise because it hurt his sensitive ears. The others followed him but got in a car or flew off so they couldn't hear it anymore.

Suddenly, the noise stopped and Tony heard FRIDAY speak to him, "they all left sir... and might I say, very discreet." If she was human, Tony knows for a fact that she would've been smirking as she said that part.

Tony glared but smirked nonetheless, "thanks FRI." He tapped Bucky's arm and made a motion to indicate that he could take out the ear plugs.

"What was that noise for?" Bucky chuckled, as he saw Tony smiling.

"I wanted them to leave." Tony stated, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Bucky cracked up then kissed his husbands head, "ready kitten?"

Tony smiled when he heard Bucky laugh then nodded his head, "let's go!" He turned the man around then jumped on his back.

Some of the team was still outside, waiting for the noise to stop when they saw Tony. They were walking over to Bucky but stopped when they saw how frightened the man looked.

Tony was getting off Bucky's back so he could run back inside when he saw Rhodey drive up. He beamed and ran towards him, a big smile on his face, "RHODEY!!" He hugged the man tightly and laughed when he made him lose balance for a bit.

The ones that were still at the compound instantly became fearful of the man that entered. Rhodey wasn't around because he had some Corporal duties to attend to so the man didn't know what happened.

Tony started to bounce around in circles, his arms up in the air as he cheered when Rhodey saw something. He saw cuts and gashes going up his arms and clenched his jaw. He pretended that he didn't notice so when he was pulled towards Bucky, he grabbed the man's wrist and dragged him into the compound and downstairs.

Bucky was very confused as to what the man was doing so he looked to Tony with a raised brow but the man was just as confused.

The team also followed because they wanted to see what Rhodey was doing.

Rhodey pushed the man inside the lab then stalked towards his suit. He hopped in then flew to Bucky, gripping his throat tightly as he slammed the man against a wall, "what did I say Buchanan?!" He shouted.

Bucky gasped then let out a small whimper from his back hitting the wall while he clawed at the metal arm from the War Machines suit, "I... I don't... know... what... what are you... what are you talking about Rhodey?"

Tony jumped when he heard the noise and rushed over to them, shoving Rhodey around, "get off of him Rhodey!!"

The Colonel ignored his best friend and tightened his grip around the man's throat, "what the hell are those cuts and gashes on his arm for Buchanan?!"

Bucky gasped from the grip on his throat but stopped clawing at the man's arm and looked him in the eyes, "I'm... I'm... I'm sorry." He said through small breaths.

Tony whined then squirmed between both of them, pushing his best friend away and glaring at him, "it's not his fault Rhodey." Bucky collapsed on the ground and took deep breaths of air while he rubbed his throat. Tony stood protectively in front of the soldier as he talked to his best friend, "it's not his fault." He repeated so the man would believe him.

Rhodey was about to walk back to Bucky when he heard Tony repeat himself. He looked up at the billionaire and lifted the mask off his face, giving him a confused look as he tilted his head, "what do you mean it wasn't his fault?"
