chapter 84

"What's wrong kitten?" Bucky sat down on the bed and placed the plate on the billionaires lap gently, looking at his husband worriedly. 

Tony got a faint blush on his cheeks but he shook his head, moving the plate to the night table and beckoning the soldier to come close to him. He made the Veteran lay down on top of him, spreading his legs for the man to lay between them then held him as he rubbed his back, "nothing, I don't know what they're doing." He shrugged his shoulders, glancing at the door like that would tell him or something. Bucky snuggled close to the man, humming as he felt comforted in his embrace but then he moved off of him, resting on his side on the bed so he could still look at his husband. Tony whined when the soldier moved and he turned to the side too, getting a small frown on his face as he looked at the man, "why'd you move?" He pouted. 

Bucky moved closer to the engineer and wrapped his arms around the man, pulling him close as he tangled their legs together, nestling his face in his neck and kissing him there softly. "I didn't want to hurt you kitten." He spoke softly, pulling the man close to him but being extra careful with his movements. 

Tony went back to rubbing the soldier's back as he rested his chin on his shoulder, snuggling close to him as well, "I love you Bucky." 

The Veteran made a happy noise then kissed his neck again, "thank you kitten, I love you too." He hummed softly as he continued to hold his husband close, rubbing his back soothingly and lightly. 

Tony then got an idea and patted the soldiers back lightly to get the man's attention, "you should teach the baby Russian, that would be funny." He let out a little breathy laugh at the end. 

Bucky chuckled, still holding the man close as he nodded his head, "alright, then you can also teach the baby Italian." He remarked. 

Tony laughed and nodded his head too, "alright Bucky, deal." He smiled. 

They continued to hold each other until they actually fell asleep.

"Who do ya think the baby would look like more, me or Tony?" Bucky woke up earlier than Tony and now, he just talking to FRIDAY. 

FRIDAY made a noise that Bucky was sure, if she was human, it would be more like a laugh. "I can't say Sergeant Barnes, I haven't seen any of his test results that Doctor Banner has been doing on him." 

Bucky snapped his fingers, "damn, I was hoping you would know." He smirked, sensing that, again, if the AI was human, she would be too. 

"Terribly sorry sir, but I do not have that knowledge." FRIDAY stated as if she was somewhat mocking or teasing the soldier. 

Bucky scoffed, waving it off then looked at the TV then at the remote, almost like he was having some crazy war-flashback as he looked  at it. "Hey FRIDAY, you can turn the TV on, right?" 

The AI made a noise that Bucky was also pretty sure would've been a scoff if she was human. "Of course Sergeant Barnes, what do you wish to watch?" Bucky sighed, leaning back in the bed as he pondered the question. He was about to respond when the AI took over. "I believe that Captain Rogers would like to speak with you Sergeant Barnes." 

Bucky shot his head to the door and then he rose a brow at the TV, "is it locked?" 

"Yes sir." 

Bucky sighed exhaustedly, "alright, yeah, open the door." He then waved at the TV for some reason, forgetting that it's an AI so there is no point in trying to "get her attention" because she isn't human. "Keep it on lockdown though, okay FRIDAY?" 

"As always Sergeant Barnes." The AI replied. "You may go in now Captain." She spoke softly as to not scare the soldier. 

Steve smiled up at the ceiling, still not understanding the concept of FRIDAY not being in the vents like Clint is, "thanks FRIDAY."
