it had been another few months and Liam was doing better than ever occasionally feeling faint when he walks in on Louis and harry eating each face off on the couch in the living room

he still hasn't told them but his therapist about Zayn's and his recent kisses fest which as Liam gets slowly over his philobobia have become more and more regular although the voice in his head tells him that Zayn doesn't even like him

Even though he knows that there are people that would probably pay to be in his position even if Zayn doesn't actually like him which Liam is pretty sure that he does

while Zayn isn't complaining about his and Liam's current relationship he does wish it was more he still really like Liam and with every kiss, he can feel his knees getting weak and him not wanting to end

things are slowly improving though they now can sit and have a conversation before and after and even during sometimes, it's not enough for him though he wants more he wants to be Liam's he wants to be able to hold his hand lean on his shoulder spoon on their couch as they watch some shitty tv show

the more he thinks about he realises he just wants to be a normal couple like how Louis and Harry are they have been together for about 3 years and are still just as head over heels for each other falling in love with every small detail of each other then go into their new shared bedroom as harry finally agreed to move in after months of Louis's constant begging and make out for hours without it getting heated just enjoying each

That is how he feels with Liam he falls in love with him more every time he cracks a bad dad joke or celebrates the smallest of accomplishment or when he makes Zayn breakfast only to end up in a snog fest

He's pretty sure that while they haven't said anything to harry and Louis and they haven't said anything to Liam and zayn that Louis and harry know about their odd relationship but more or less choose not to talk about it

Niall on the hand is certain that Zayn and Liam have been hooking up but Zayn thinks that just because he is lonely across the road and wants Liam and Zayn to bunk together so he can get the spare room and for some reason the thought makes him smile

As Zayn watches Louis Harry and Liam and Niall be themselves cracking stupid and unfunny jokes that they all laugh at anyway while harry's hand grazes over Louis's clothed dick 'accidentally' that was all too obvious he thinks about how he got to be here he has a great job even if it is extremely trying, great friends and supportive family and maybe even a boyfriend

Today was a big day Liam had been waiting for this day since his last meeting with his therapist which was last weekend today with the help of Niall he planned to do something that if you told him even 6 months ago he would've told you were full of it but today he is actually going to do it

Niall helps Liam pack the car with all the supplies before handing Liam a basket full of food and promising to deliver him a zayn before 4 o'clock and proceeds to pinch Liam's cheek as if he was his mother excited for his first date

Which thinking about it, it sort of was he hadn't done a lot of high school dates only ever asking out Danielle in year 10 and once that ended now almost 5 years ago he hadn't kissed anyone (but now Zayn) or gone on a date with someone (but now Zayn)

Liam nods before jumping into the car and driving to find a spot to set up his and Zayn's picnic date he finds the perfect place and takes out his phone to take a photo to send to Niall showing him how things are going also checking the time noticing that he has now only got half an hour before Zayn was due to show up

So he quickly sets up the perfect picnic area putting up fairy lights and laying out a rug on the slightly sandy from the beach ground and sets up the food in the middle before fixing his outfit and waiting for Zayn and Niall to show up

He doesn't have to wait long though as he sees Niall car pulling up next to them Niall steps out and opens the car door for Zayn who is still very confused about what is going about what is happening

"Have fun boy's" Niall says before getting back into his car and shouting "Oh and I called dibs on the new spare room" He shouts driving off

"What is happening," Zayn says looking around at the scene which is quite beautiful
"Well I thought you might like to make us more official," Liam says feeling the nerves overtake his body and the little voice in his head come back again in the few seconds it takes Zayn to 'think'

"like boyfriends?" Zayn asks almost Hopefully but trying not to get too excited
"exactly like boyfriends" Liam smiles as Zayn nods his head so fast that Liam thinks it might just come rolling off

Liam turns around and kisses Zayn there is no tongue or even desire just a sweet kiss to seal the deal

"are you hungry we should probably eat at least some of this harry made this for us," Liam says and Zayn just nods scared of what might happen if he opens his mouth

they sit down and eat for about an hour before watching the sunset Zayn has his head on Liam's chest and Liam has his head on top of Zayn's playing with Zayn's hair and Zayn wishes they could've stayed there like that forever and his not thinking when he say's

"I love you, Liam" but to his surprise Liam responses

"I love you too Zayn more than anything"
