Epilogue

It has been almost exactly 5 years since Liam and Zayn's first date and they have been joint at the hip ever since they eventually moved into the same room and Niall moved into the new spare room only for Liam and Zayn to move into Nialls flat across the street which was weird for everyone but mostly for Niall seeing how the boys did it up

Liam has almost completely overcome his philophobia although he still doesn't like PDA it still makes him uncomfortable and the voice in his head never completely goes away no matter how many times Zayn tells him he loves him

Liam thinks a lot now he thinks about how his life went from a living hell to be almost perfect and the one answer that comes to his mind is Zayn, Zayn saved Liam in so many ways not only did he help him overcome his philophobia, but Liam feels more loved then he ever has before even from his parents and his sisters and he loves Zayn more than his loved anyone ever before maybe not his mum but everyone else

So today he was setting up the same picnic he had set up 5 years ago to the day trying to make it as close to there first date as possible even asking Harry to remake the food again because tonight Liam was going to ask Zayn to marry him

he putts up the fairy lights and lays out a rug on the slightly sandy from the beach ground and sets up the food in the middle before fixing his outfit and waiting for Zayn

while he waits he looks at the scene which is still quite beautiful and looks exactly like there the first date even if it is a slightly different spot

it takes longer than expected but still not too long as he sees Zayns car pulling up next to him Zayn steps out and looks around slightly confused about what is going about what is happening

After eating dinner for what felt like an entirety and Liam flipping the box in his pocket over nervously it was finally time he thought he stood up pulling Zayn up with him

"What is happening," Zayn says looking around

"Well .." Liam says feeling the nerves overtake his body again he slowly pulls the velvet ring box out of his pocket getting on one knee "Zain Javadd Malik we've through one hell of a ride and without you I don't know where I would be today so will you marry me?" and the little voice in his head goes crazy for the few seconds before Zayn answers

"Yes, Yes, omg, of course, Yes" Zayn nods his head so fast that Liam thinks  it might just come rolling off Liam smiles before standing up sliding the ring on to Zayns finger and then kisses Zayn hard the kiss is full of emotion and feels different to seal the deal

"the best decision I ever made was loving you," Zayn said starting to cry a little out of happiness obviously

"I'm glad because I love you more than anything and I'm never letting you go" Liam answers smiling at how perfect everything was and is and the future he can't wait to have with Zayn Javadd Payne
