Brian's POV
"Theo! Sabihin mo nga sa'kin, nabawasan ba 'yung abs ko?" Tanong ko sa alien na busy sa pakikipagusap sa cellphone niya. He stopped talking and looked at me with a blank face.
"Nabawasan ba 'yung abs ko?" Huh? And that is when realization hit me. I got my face palmed. Mali 'yung pagkakaintindi niya sa sinabi ko.
Then he shrugged and got back to his business. Flirting. It's either with his freaking dog or his alien girlfriend. But apparently, he doesn't have one, so I assume it's the dog.
Lumapit ako kay Cody. Well, at least mas matino naman si Cody kumpara kay Theo. But to make sure he would answer properly, I would rephrase my question.
"Hey, nabawasan ba 'yung abs ko nung nagkasakit ako?" Tanong ko. Tumingin naman siya sa'kin with 'what the eff' look.
"No. I believe you know how to count up to 100. And I'm pretty sure that counting to six is just a piece of cake." He answered and turned his back to me. Well, for the least he answered.
May bigla namang kabayong sumulpot at inakbayan ako.
"Ano'ng problema natin, Brian?" Tanong niya.
"Hindi naman nabawasan 'yung abs ko 'di ba?" I need a second opinion guys! Just to make sure Cody's saying the truth.
Umiling si Nathan and answered a no.
"My looks were still the same. Hindi naman pumayat 'yung itsura ko, right?"
"Nope. Not at all."
"Nor gained weight?" Dagdag ko pa. He shakes his head again.
"You're still the same dude. Nothing has changed. Why? Did your girlfriend dumped you for another guy?" He asked, curious. Well, who wouldn't be? Brian Park was uncertain out of the blue. That was very rare
"No. Not really. Sige. Salamat na lang sa pagsagot." Then I walked past him.
If I didn't change, then...
WHY IS THAT FREAKING GHOST CLINGING ONTO TIMOTHY?!
Kanina ko pa siya gustong kausapin. Actually, hindi lang kanina. Gusto kong tanungin kung may nagawa ba akong mali these past few days o nasabing mali, pero hindi ko magawa kasi for the whole three days straight, SHE'S WITH TIMOTHY!!!
Is there someone intelligent enough to figure out and explain to me why?!
Did she just realized that I'm not the one she really liked? Or maybe she got confused and changed her ultimate bias? Or some kind of Cupid's arrow hit her head? Or.... Wait....
Why am I even asking in the first place?! Ugh! This is so frustrating!
"Bwisit! Bakit ba kasi magkasama sila?" Inis na bulong ko sa sarili ko.
"Kasi hindi ka nag-exert ng effort para maramdaman niya na may reason pa para mag-stay siya sa tabi mo. Na gusto mo siya. Or maybe she found what she's looking for with another guy." Words of wisdom from Kyle. Napa-angat naman ang tingin ko sa kaniya, and I found him sitting on the couch, reading a book. Shiz! Akala ko ako na 'yung sinasabihan. 'Cause it gave me chills, seriously.
Umupo na lang ako sa couch at kinuha 'yung remote. I have to distract myself. The image of that stupid ghost with Timothy is intolerable. Masyadong masakit sa mata.
I averted my gaze from them and to the television then started switching channels. And after a few seconds I stopped clicking and it landed on a random channel.
"...Sprite! Magpakatotoo ka!" Okay, damn! What was that?! Pinatay ko kaagad 'yung TV.
Napansin naman yata ni Alex 'yung kakaibang kinikilos ko.
"Hoy, Brian! Umamin ka nga--" I cut him off by some stupid words that automatically came out from my mouth.
"Wala akong aaminin! I don't like her and I don't care about her!" Oh damn. What did I just said?! Then I immediately stormed inside my room. Now everything is all fcked up.
"Geez!!!! Aaah!! Bakit ba kasi sila ang magkasama?!" Then I pulled my own hair out of frustration.
This is so not me.
Definitely not me.
Io's POV
"Sorry Brian. Alam kong nami-miss mo na ako but I have to stick with Timothy for now." Well, for the least I know that I'm important to him even though he's acting all so mighty towards me.
It's been three days since I started tailing Timothy. I'm always at his side wherever he goesㅡwell, except inside the bathroom. I'm loyal to Brian. Sa kaniya lang ako pwedeng sumama hanggang CR.
Remember the night nung may sakit pa si Brian? And after he muttered some girl's name? What was it again? Adelyn? Adel--whatever, it doesn't matter.
Timothy let out some very unexpected words.
*Flashback*
"...Adeline...." Humahagulgol na talaga ako kasi ayaw niya pa rin gumising. And that fact na hindi ako 'yung tinatawag niya kundi ibang babae.
"Timothy! Do something! Wake him up!" Sigaw ko kay Timothy when I noticed that he stopped moving by he time he heard the name 'Adeline'.
Who's that freaking Adeline anyway?!
"No, Brian. She can't stay with you. No, not anymore..." I was surprised when he said that. Ano raw?!
"She WAS yours, Brian. But now? SHE IS MINE." At tumayo siya nang walang alinlangan at lumabas ng kwarto.
"Timothy! Bumalik ka rito!!!" But as usual, no one listens to me. Nagpatuloy lang siya. I heard him called for Cody to take care of Brian and excused himself for some fake incoming phone call.
Tiningnan ko uli si Brian. He calmed down a bit. Pumasok naman si Cody as Tim said it.
"I'll be back, Brian." Bulong ko sa kaniya. As much as I wanted to stay beside him, hindi ko magawa kasi may kung ano'ng naguudyok sa'kin na sundan si Tim sa labas.
Timothy is up to something...
Something that is not good...
Lumabas ako ng dorm nila and found Tim in the garden. He was talking to someone on the other line.
"Hello, tita. Yes. I got my schedule for her. Tell her to wait for me. I'll be there next week. Okay. Yes, yes tita. Sure na sure na po ang pagpunta ko diyan. Sige po. Thanks. Bye." Then he ended the call. Ano raw? Aalis siya next week?
He started clenching his phone and it's very obvious that he's angry. First time ko siyang makitang ganito.
"She's mine, Brian Park!" He yelled full of anger.
"Adeline only belongs to me. At hindi ko hahayaang mauwi lang sa wala ang mga ginawa ko." Dagdag pa niya.
*End of Flashback*
And there. I got curious. And I also found out that he's going to America next week. Sigurado akong 'yun 'yung pupuntahan niya na narinig ko nung may kausap siya.
And I'm planning to come with him.
