You, Tanjiro, and Kyojurou walked in silence to his house. It had been a few days since your talk with Kyojurou but true to his word, he kept quiet about it. It was a relief to know he didn't want to be a corpse.

Today, Kyojurou (though still extremely injured) seemed fine enough to walk so he was bringing Tanjiro to his house (after breaking out) so he get some answers while you were with him since you planned to go shopping with him after Tanjiro got what he wanted.

"Brother!!" Senjurou ran up to Kyojurou and engulfed him in a big hug when he saw his brother coming home. "I missed you so much!"

"It's good to see you too Senjurou." Kyojurou smiled, returning the hug. "I hope you ate well while I was gone." he said pulling away as he patted Senjurou's head.

"Yeah! I did!" he smiled, nodding as he turned to you, a bigger smile appearing on his face as he ran up and hugged you. "(Y/n) nee-san!"

"(Y/n) nee-san.........?" you froze, turning to Kyojurou who was fighting the urge to laugh. Tanjiro, who stood beside you, could smell the sincerity and embarrassment from Senjurou.

Senjurou froze, nervously looking up, he muttered the words he both wanted to say (but could never get the courage to) to you for a a long time. He studied your blank look, wondering if you were mad at him.

He flinched and shut his eyes close, feeling a hand on his head, moving up and down as he got a head pat. He looked up to see you with a warm smile.

"It's good to see you too Senjurou." he pulled away, taking your hand as he excitedly ran back to his house with you running a short distance behind him.

"It makes me wonder if I'm really his brother or not." Kyojurou chuckled, seeing his brother leading you to the house you've visited more times than you could count. "He seems to enjoy (Y/n)'s company more than mine."

"I'm sure he loves you too Rengoku-san." Tanjiro reassured though he knew there was no need to, the scent around him was already telling him that Kyojurou liked the fact his brother got along with you.

"I know." he chuckled before taking a step forward, walking at a steady pace or Shinobu might kill him (more than she would when they got back)."Let's go."

Kyojurou and Tanjiro entered the house to look for what they needed while you waited outside for Kyojurou so you to could go shopping. Senjurou headed outside with tea and snacks as he kept you company. He placed the tray between the two of you.

"Why didn't you go inside Nee-san?" Senjurou asked, immediately referring to you as such after you looked like you didn't mind that title at all.

"Because it's a talk between between Flame users. It's none of my business." you replied, taking the one of the sugar biscuits he brought out and bit it. "Why are you here?"

"I guess I'm the same as you." he chuckled nervously, going silent as he stared the cup of tea in his hands. "......... Nee-san."

You hummed in response, eating another cookie. "What is it?"

"Thank you."

"What for?" you asked, raising a brow as you reached for the other cup of tea thay was prepared for you.

"If it wasn't for you then my brother would've died, that's what the Kakushi to me." he smiled bitterly, staring at his reflection from the tea. "Even though he's being badmouthed, I can't say anything. I wish I had the power the two of you have, maybe, maybe I could do something and prove that my brother was a great person. I don't even want to think of how he would've been if you didn't save him." he stared down, tears coming down his face as he let out a butter laugh at how pitifully weak he was. "I'm sorry I'm so weak."
