Raven's POV
I watched as professor Snape paced back and forth his voice staying monotone. I was new to this school and it was a bit difficult to get used to. I came from a muggle school and I've found it difficult to find friends. "Class dismissed" I stood up and packed my things starting to walk out until a hand gripped my shoulder. I turned my head and stared into the blue eyes of this person "hello... and you must be..." the boy said trailing off slightly "raven" I said smiling a little bit "ahh nice to meet you raven. I'm malfoy- no I'm Draco. Draco malfoy" he smiled holding his hand out to me. I shook his hand gently smiling "nice to meet you too Draco" he grinned and nodded "I think we'll get along just fine... especially since you're in slytherin" he smiled a wide grin on his face "see you around raven" he winked and walked off leaving me alone with my own thoughts butterflies fluttering in my stomach.

I leaned against the wall flicking through the spell book "Avada kadavra" I whispered trying to find the spell. I found it and looked at the description of it cringing slightly "how awful" I shook my head and highlighted the spell in red to show that it's one of the bad curses. I was about to find the next spell called crucio when I was stopped by a little hissing sound. I looked around but didn't see anyone. I shrugged it off starting to read through the spells again "raven" a little voice said and I looked up confused "who's there?" I asked anxiously but I once again got no response "raven!!" the voice got louder and I sighed "what do you want?" I whined annoyed as I was trying to study "did someone poop in your breakfast? Is that why you're in a bad mood" I looked to my left and saw Goyle, Draco's friend "woah that's the longest sentence I've heard you say... no I'm just trying to study but I guess you want me to fail" Goyle shook his head stuffing a cake into his mouth "nope, just wanted to pop by to say hi" I rolled my eyes and looked back down at my book. As I started reading again the book was snatched from my hands and I looked up ready to yell at Goyle but I stopped mid sentence as I noticed Draco who was in his robes his hood up hiding his face slightly "you're a goody two shoes aren't you?" I shook my head and stood up pushing his hood down before sitting back down "I just study a lot. I learnt that from muggle school." Draco smiled and started to flick through the pages "hm I might have to learn a few things from this" I smile slightly "be my guest" Draco grins "or I could just study with you" I looked at him and laugh a little bit "whatever you think is best... now if I may-" I snatched the book from his hands and held it close to my chest "I need to work" Draco smiled and nodded "alright. See you around" I nodded and waved him off focusing back on the book "wait raven?" I continued to look at the book humming a little bit "can we actually have a study evening tonight?" I paused on the line I was reading before looking up and nodding "sure." I smiled and he grinned "great see you then" after a while I heard him talk again and I flinched "wait... raven..." I gasped and looked up "god you scared me" he sat beside me and smiled "all I wanted to do was... this..." he kissed my cheek his lips lingering for a while longer "see you tonight" he brushed his fingers against my cheek his ring chilling my warm skin. I smiled leaning into his touch before shaking myself out of it and pulling away "see you tonight dray-" I coughed slightly "Draco" he smiled at me. Not one of those smiles he gives potter or Weasley but a genuine one...
