Shay's POV
"piertotum Locomotor!" I watched in slight shock as what seemed to be stone knights jumped down and hit the ground hard. They started marching and I watched in awe "hogwarts is under threat! Do your duty's for our school!" McGonagall shouted before focusing her attention onto us "We've got this... we just need to fight... fight for our sanity. Fight for our lives. Fight for our families and most importantly fight for our school" She said and we all looked at each other before nodding. "I'm giving you all permission to blow this school up!" I felt my throat get slightly tighter with anxiousness. George grabbed my hand gently and squeezed it as if to reassure me but I didn't need any reassurance. If I was going to die then so be it but I'm going to try and make every single person in hogwarts proud of the students who fought. "Stick close to us" Fred said aiming his words and both me and Ginny. I looked towards Harry, Ron and Hermione who were talking to McGonagall "shay cmon" Fred took my hand and pulled me away "but Fred Ron and Harry" Fred looked at me putting his hands on my shoulders "they're trying to do something to make Voldemort go away. We're saving hogwarts!" I looked into his eyes and nodded "okay. Sorry Freddie" he looked at me before sighing "don't be sorry. Just stay close to us okay?" I nodded and pulled my wand out watching as other hogwarts students lined up to help with the fight. I looked around making sure Fred and George were both okay. "Brace yourselves!" A ravenclaw student yelled and I looked in the direction he was looking in and noticed death eaters appearing out of no where. "Fred, George!" I yelled and they both pulled their wands out getting ready to attack. One appeared right in front of me and I froze in slight shock. He looked at me an evil smile on his face "you would've been perfect for a death eater... come with me..." he held his hand out and I noticed the snake on his wrist. His mark. "Get say from my sister you bastard!" Ginny yelled and I watched as a bright light erupted from her wand and the death eater was thrown backwards. He hit a wall and the wall crumbled before collapsing on top of him. "Thanks Ginny" she smiled "no problem. Keep your guard up" She then ran off and I tightened my grip on my wand. I watched as death eaters invaded the grounds and started to attack everyone. Soon enough all I could see was bodies upon bodies. Lifeless first and second years. "Flipendo!" I yelled watching as a death eater was flung backwards. The student looked at me a thankful look in her eyes "run" I said and she looked like she was battling with herself "go! Make it out alive. Go!" She gave me a weak smile before nodding and running off. I sighed in relief "watch out!" I turned around just in time to dodge a spell directed at me. The death eater began to throw spells at Fred and I looked around noticing the rocks above the death eater "confringo!" I shouted watching as the spell hit the rocks before the rocks fell down falling on top of the death eater. Fred nodded at me before starting to help keep the other death eaters away. "Hello sweetie!" I turned my head my eyes widening at the sigh of bellatrix. She nearly killed Ron. That's why I hate her. She's evil. Her heart is dark. Full of complete hatred. "Oh it's you" I said and she pouted "not so nice hey? I didn't actually kill your brother!" She cackled and I glared at her "shut up you bitch" she raised her eyebrows "oh... aren't you just a kind little girl..." I stared at her ready to attack at any point. She took slow steps towards me "a small... weak... innocent... vulnerable... stupid Weasley" she looked down at her wand "what do you want?" I seethed and she laughed "why don't I just kill all your brothers?" She pointed her wand at Fred and George and I quickly stepped in the line of fire. "protego" I growled watching as a white shield surround me, Fred and George and the spell backfired and dashed back towards bellatrix who dodged it. "Oh you think you're so clever! You insolent little brat!" I scowled at her before stepping out of the shield "avada kedavra" She cackled and I tried to throw a curse back at her but the curse hit me in the stomach causing me to be pushed back. I hit the wall harshly and I winced as the wall fell down and made me a grave. I closed my eyes gripping my stomach tight. How am I not dead? Or am I dead? "Mum bellatrix hit shay!" Fred yelled and I gripped my head as my vision went slightly blurry "shay can you hear me?" Came George's voice "Georgie?" I whispered "Fred she's talking to me! Shay darling stay with me... we'll get you out of this" I heard Fred and mum shouted a few spells before Fred joins George "I-I'm gonna pass out..." I whimpered and somehow Fred heard that "just try to stay awake... please... we can't lose you." I heard rocks hitting the ground before a small bit of light came through a big hole. George looked in "merlin's beard you really don't look great... Fred help me" they both began to try and pull the rocks away. After a while the rocks came away and the boys managed to get into the small space "Fred pull her out" Fred got into the small space "can you walk?" He asked gently and I shook my head pointing weakly at my foot which was pointing the wrong way "Okay... I'm sorry this might hurt" he whispered and held onto my hand before pulling me. I tried to keep my leg up but it did brush against the floor a few times but I tried to stay brave. Droplets of rain hit my face and I lied down groaning softly and closing my eyes "sweetheart keep your eyes open" Fred said brushing the hair from my forehead. George grabbed my hand "go get a stretcher Fred... now!" Fred struggled to get up but he did and rushed off. George looked down at me and cupped my cheek in his hand "shay... babe... I-if you need to... let go... don't hold on for us... we want you to be out of pain so if you feel like you aren't going to manage it then close your eyes and maybe you'll find yourself in a warm place. I'll be there someday I promise. I'm right here baby" he stared into my eyes and he wiped the tear that fell from my cheek "Georgie I'll be fine..." I whispered and George took a deep shaky breath "okay but just know if you need to let go then do. Don't hold on" I nodded and smiled weakly at him "Okay Georgie I love you" he smiled "I love you too" his bottom lip quivered and I shook my head to try and wake myself up before I slowly and carefully sat myself up. I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him close "I-I'm here... I'm here" I rested my head on his shoulder and played with his hair to try and calm him down. After a while I felt myself getting slightly dizzy before I tightened my arms around him and everything went black.

George's POV
I didn't want to lose her but I knew she needed some sort of permission to let go. I looked towards Fred who was walking over with a stretcher. Ron held the other end whilst Harry and Hermione followed with a horrified look on their face. I felt her grip on me tighten "you okay?" I whispered but I got no response. I slowly pulled away and noticed her eyes were closed tight. "No" I whispered shaking her shoulders gently "shay... please... oh no..." I rested her down on the floor and stared at her before breaking down. I held both of her hand as I cried into her chest not wanting to believe this. She cannot be gone. "Please..." I whimpered looking at her face as Ron collapsed down beside her on the other side. Hermione kneeled down and wrapped her arms around him whilst Harry came towards me and Fred just stared at shay his mouth a gape a pained expression on his face. Hermione put her ear next to shay's mouth before slowly sitting up "she's still breathing... we need to get her to madam pomfrey. Ron help me with the stretcher. Fred, George and Harry get shay onto the stretcher" mum and dad rushed over to us and looked over the situation before mum collapsed into dads arms. I sniffled before sighing "Fred you take her legs I'll take her arms. Harry you keep her back straight" we picked her up and Harry put his arms under her back before we walked towards the stretcher. We lied her down before helping pick it up and walk it towards the infirmary. I tried to ignore all the bodies on the ground but I couldn't. Every bit of grass was flesh. Blood covered the ground and I could just hear bellatrix cackling in the background. She's dead. Yes. But she wanted shay dead. She wanted Fred dead. She wanted me dead. She might've gotten her wish.

I closed my eyes before sighing and stretching. I looked at shay a frown covering my face instantly. She was pale and she looked sick. She hadn't been awake since the incident. That was two months ago. I'm losing hope. People come in to swap but I won't leave her side. I pulled the chair closer and took her hand in mine "hey shay... are you still there? I hope so." I sighed "I don't know how I would live without you. You're the light in the Weasley family. You make the Weasley family the Weasley's. Without you we're nothing. Please don't leave." I held her hand tight "I haven't given up on you darling but... I'm close... I'm very close" I whispered not being able to come to terms with my feelings. I felt a hand on my shoulder and knew it was Fred. He sat down on the other side of her without saying anything. He sat down taking her hand in his. "Morning sun shine" Fred whispered to her and rubbed over the cannula in her hand "did madam pomfrey say anything?" Fred asked and I looked up before looking down and sighing "one more week then she'll be taken off life support" a pained look fell onto his face and he nodded "okay. C'mon shay... you're a soldier... our soldier. You can do this. You can fight for us." He rubbed her cheek gently and I noticed something on her cheek. A small tear falling down her cheek "Fred! Fred look!" Fred shot up and looked at what I was looking at "can she... hear us?" He asked a pained but happy look on his face "maybe?" I took her hand in mine "if you can hear us shay... squeeze my hand" I squeezed her hand once and watched as her fingers curled slightly but couldn't completely wrap around my hand "she can hear us" I whispered. Fred covered his mouth and sat down tears of happiness falling down his cheeks "this is a miracle" he whispered and I looked at him smiling a little bit. She is a Weasley for sure. And she especially our soldier.

Shay's POV
I could hear him but I couldn't completely react to things he was saying. After a while it went silent and I tried to move my body to wake myself up but I couldn't. "Do it again" I looked to my side and saw dumbledore. I smiled a little bit "but how?" He smiled putting his hand on my shoulder "he brave... be the soldier you are shaylee. Your brothers can't live without you. I have faith in you" he took my hand in his and smiled "I'll do it with you" I looked at him and nodded "one... two...three" he put his hand on my shoulder and very slowly pushed me up. I opened my eyes looking around at the bright room. Dumbledore was gone but I could still somehow feel his presence. He was holding me up. I looked over towards the seat and noticed Fred. "Freddie... Freddie!" I whispered my voice hurting a little bit. He shifted in his seat before resting his chin on his hand. I watched as he opened his eyes slowly. I shifted and watched as his head shot up and his eyes widened "shay!!" He shouted and I flinched covering my mouth as George fell out of his chair and onto the floor with a loud bang. Fred pulled me into a tight hug "Oh god I thought we lost you" George whispered holding onto me with Fred "I don't give up that easily" I said rubbing my eyes before holding onto them tight "of course you don't... you're our soldier..." I looked at them and smiled. Yeah I am. I'm their soldier.
