15- Headache= Hidden signs (snape and draco)

Shay's POV
I heard a quiet whisper and opened my eyes instantly closing my eyes as I was met by the morning sun. I groaned softly resting my arm across my eyes to try and shield my eyes from the sun. "Shay" a cold voice whispered and I froze looking around very very confused. I was the only one in my dorm. I opened my eyes again squinting slightly before sitting up and climbing out of bed stumbling slightly as I tripped over my notebook. I grabbed my necklace before putting it around my neck. This was a gift I got for Halloween. From Draco. I looked in the mirror smiling slightly as the snake shined a bright green. Green always meant that the day was going to be good. I looked closer and noticed a violet colour tinted the top of the snake. I frowned and took the necklace into my hand flinching and letting it go as an electric shock ripped through my body. "Weird" I whispered but shrugged it off putting my uniform on. I noticed I was getting out of breath quite quickly. Maybe I was coming down with something. I shrugged and shook my head putting my robes on before grabbing my wand and making my way to the great hall. "Put a stopper in death" a cold voice rang in my ears and I looked around my eyes wide. "What's up with you?" Pansy asked as she walked with her "friends" or as I like to call them: minions. "Didn't you hear that?" I asked tightening my grip on my wand getting ready to curse anyone and anything who was messing with me. "You're going mad. I didn't hear anything." I nodded and walked down the corridor walking through the doors and towards an empty seat which was thankfully by Draco. I sat down my breathing slightly heavy "you okay?" He asked rubbing my back gently. "Yeah I'm fine." I whispered and Draco nodded before turning back to his food. I listened to Goyle as he ranted on and on about a Hufflepuff who had apparently "taken the piss out of him" I picked my fork up and started to stab the bacon which was on my plate. "Why aren't you eating?" Draco asked but I didn't answer "hey shay what's the matter?" I looked at him and shook my head "nothing" I tore a piece of bacon off before eating it slowly. As soon as I swallowed it I regretted it. I started feeling worse. It felt as if I had a fever but I wasn't hot. I was freezing. Draco started talking to the others and I rested my head against my hand closing my eyes tight. "Potter! Hey potter!" I looked up and stared at Harry. I frowned slightly as I was seeing two of everyone "is it true you fainted? You actually fainted?" My hand slipped and my head hit the table quite hard causing glasses and plates to bump against each other "woah what the hell? You good?" Blaise asked sounding amused "shut it Blaise. Are you okay shay? It's okay" I lifted my head slowly but struggled to hold my head up. "Of course she's not okay you dumbass" Blaise responded and Draco made eye contact with him glaring angrily "shut it before I do it for you" I leaned my head against Draco's shoulder my vision starting to go black. "I-I'm gonna faint" I whispered barely audible. Draco looked at me a panicked expression on his face "What is going on here?" I looked up making eye contact with snape who looked quite concerned "shay's not well..." Draco pressed his hand to my forehead "she's not hot... she's actually freezing Professor" Draco wrapped my arm around his shoulders before trying to get me to stand up but my legs weren't working. Snape came to my other side and took my other arm wrapping it around his shoulders. Both of them began to walk me out of the great hall "cmon hun use your legs" Draco said and I nodded trying to move my legs but they were stuck in place. I couldn't move them and that terrified me. We made it out of the great hall and I watched as everything started to spin again. My legs weakened even more and I started to fall my vision going dark and that's when I entered my nightmare.

Draco's POV
I wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her back up to try and steady her "she's out cold. Let's get her somewhere safe before anything else happens" Snape ordered and I nodded carefully picking shay up bridal style. I looked at her face noticing how pale she looked "Professor do you think you've got the right potions to cure whatever this is." Snape looked at me "I might do yes but I'm worried that what's happened isn't caused by lack of food or water but by something much more darker" he looked at me that certain way and I felt sick. I didn't want to believe it. I mean he could just be thinking too much. Voldemort doesn't know shay. Right? I was pulled out of my thoughts by Snape patting my shoulder "put her down over there. I just need to assess her" I nodded carrying her over to the sofa before lying her down "accio" I whispered watching as a green slytherin pillow appeared in my hands. I smiled before lifting her head up and putting the pillow behind her head and gently leaning her head back. I looked at her face again noticing she was now as white as a sheet. "Professor... she's not normal colour" I said and Snape rushed over "this isn't good draco. I was right. He's managed to get inside of her head" I looked at Snape horrified. "No..." I whispered "because of me?" I asked and Snape looked at me "no. Don't think like that Draco. Somethings happened to bring him close to her" I nodded and watched as Snape rushed through his different potions "Draco look for the dark mark" I looked at him like he was insane before nodding "okay" I rolled her sleeves up and checked for the dark mark but nothing was on her wrist "nothing" I said grasping my own wrist tightly. "This should do it" Snape said mixing a red and green potion together "hopefully" he whispered under his breath.

"Hold her head for me" Snape said and I did. He poured the now bright red liquid down her throat "come on" I whispered freezing as she started to shake violently "oh god oh god..." I pulled away watching as she shook. I took a step backwards not wanting to believe that I caused this. I looked down until my eyes caught a glimpse of something dark on her wrist which wasn't there before. I grasped her wrist pulling the sleeves up and staring at the dark mark on her wrist "oh god no" it was very faint but still dark "she can't live like that Professor!" I yelled and Snape looked at me emotionless "I'm sorry Draco... I can't do anything" I grabbed snapes arm "you have to do something! Please! She can't! She's selling herself to him I can't let her go down this path!" Snape looked down and I breathed heavily "I'm sorry Draco" I stared at him my eyes wide "I'm going to fix her." I whispered until a pain struck through my head. I squinted and held my head watching as images of a green necklace ran through my mind. "Take it off. It's going to murder her. Or worse drive her to insanity" a voice in my head said and I stood back up rushing over to shay and ripping the necklace off of her. "What are you doing?" Snape asked "it's cursed. It's been cursed. That's how he knows her" I turned around throwing the necklace into the fire watching as the fire turned into an icy blue colour loud screams coming out of it. I backed away looking down at shay watching as the dark mark slowly started to disappear from her wrist. I sighed in relief taking her hand in mine "she'll have guilt so we have to erase her memory... of this... of you ever giving her that necklace..." I looked at Snape before looking down at my hands and nodding slowly knowing it had to be done. I pulled my wand out and looked at Snape "I-i have to do this.... I have to" Snape nodded "do it... even if he does come back at least she won't have the memories of him" I nodded pointing my wand at her thinking of the memories before closing my eyes taking a deep breath "obliviate" I whispered before opening my eyes watching as she looked peaceful again. I watched in silence  as the dark mark disappeared completely "she'll be fine now although she will have a headache. If she is confused then explain that she was taken into the forbidden forest by someone unknown. Okay?" I nodded and watched as snape walked out probably to talk to Dumbledore and McGonagall.

I held shay's hand tight until I noticed movement. She whined softly and I caressed her face "I'm right here..." I whispered watching as she opened her eyes slowly "I've got a headache..." she whispered "that's okay hun" she gripped my hand tight "what happened?" I looked down taking a deep breath "someone took you into the forbidden forest" her eyes widened slightly "oh god who?" I shook my head "I don't know" she wrapped her arms around me tightly and I smiled holding onto her "you're safe now... I'm never gonna let you get hurt. I promise" she pulled away "you promise?" I smile and nod holding out my pinky. She wrapped her pinky around mine and I smiled kissing my hand "I promise..." she kissed her hand staring into my eyes "thank you draco" I smiled squeezing her hand before pulling her close to me. I was going to protect her with my whole life. That evil man won't ever get his hands on her. Never. Even if that meant me getting killed for her then I'd do it. Any day to save her. She is my everything.
