Shay's POV
I pulled my books closer to my chest and started walking towards where me and my boyfriend George usually hang out. Fred sometimes joins but that depends as Fred likes to do his own things but that doesn't happen very often. "Hey guys look... it's the Gryffindor's princess... more like Gryffindor's non existent princess" I turned around and glared at the four slytherin's who were having a right laugh at me. "Well at least I'm not a boring old slytherin like yourself" I said directly my words at Blaise and pansy. "Hey we've got Draco! Who have you got? Oh we've got Scar head... yeah he's a loser" pansy shot back and I glared at her "well we've won every year and what have you won? Nothing" I said causing Marcus to stand in front of pansy and cross his arms "shut up before I do it for you... you filthy little mudblood" I raised my eyebrows "you really using Draco's words? Well done that's definitely not new" I said crossing my arms over my chest copying his movements. "You're so going to get it!" He stormed towards me and I turned around knowing I had to get to where George and Fred would be. I started running ignoring the Slytherin's who were laughing loudly. I ran and ran until I got knocked over by something hard. I hit the ground hard and whined slightly before trying to get up but I was pushed back down by Blaise "just stay down... we won't hurt you... that bad" pansy and Marcus started to kick at my stomach and I covered my head to protect myself but they still managed to kick my face. "Stop it!" Came a loud voice and I looked up noticing Percy Weasley the Gryffindor Prefect. The Slytherin's didn't listen and I began to cry the pain getting unbearable. "What the hell are you doing?!" "That's my girlfriend you ass!" Came two familiar voices. The Slytherin's looked behind them and noticed the Weasley twins and three of them ran off except Blaise who didn't seem to care. H started kicking me harder before he stood me up and held me before punching me in the face five times. "Fred go get professor Lupin now!" George rushed over to me and pulled me away from Blaise and held me in his chest holding me close "get out of here right now you scumbag" Blaise raised his eyebrows and laughed "why should I? Just because the Gryffindor twins are getting confident? Ahh I'm so scared" George kneeled down helping me sit down before standing back up and going over to Blaise. He grabbed Blaise by the collar of his shirt and shoved him against a wall which looked over the whomping willow. "If you dare touch my girlfriend again I'll make sure you don't make it out alive! Got that?" Blaise gripped George tightly a look of fear on his face. "Have you?!" George yelled and Blaise nodded rapidly before George pushed Blaise even further "g-George.." I whispered and before I could stop George he held Blaise who was now dangling and trying to hold onto something "I understand George! Please just put me down!" George loosened his grip and went to let go but he didn't. He pulled Blaise back before shoving him on the ground "now go..." Blaise struggled to get up but he managed. He ran away from George before George rushed towards me and pulled me into his arms "Jesus Christ..." he held my face in his hands and frowned. "She's right here" came Fred's voice and I looked to the side and noticed my dad. George helped me get up before I stumbled over towards him. "Professor Lupin I tried to stop them but I couldn't. I ended up teaching one of them a lesson" my dad nodded "that's fine George. It's better if you did it rather than me because I don't think I would've stopped" dad looked at my face and frowned "god they really hurt you didn't they" I nodded and pulled my face out of his hands "they're going to pay for this I promise" Fred said and I smiled slightly. "Let's get you fixed up. You go with Fred and George to the infirmary and I'll go let Dumbledore know and he'll look at the CCTV" I nodded and gave him one last hug before hugging Fred before going back towards George. "Jump" he whispered and I did before jumping onto him wrapping my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. He kissed my cheek before us three headed towards the infirmary.

As we got to the infirmary George tried to put me on the bed but I wouldn't let go. I didn't want to. "Okay sweetheart" He sat down on the bed keeping me close whilst Fred sat down on the end of the bed. Madam Pomfrey helped clean me up and she gave me some medicine before smiling "get some rest dear. You boys can stay here with her as long as you want." I nodded and cuddled into George holding him tight. I'm lucky they came to me before anything worse could happen. I'm so lucky to have them in my life
