Snape's POV
I crossed my arms over my chest and watched as the class muttered to themselves quietly. "There will be no foolish wand waving ... and no silly incantations in my class... if you want to do that then get out." I looked around at all the students "good." I turned towards Draco and Glared at him as he made a howling sound "thank you mr malfoy" I sighed before starting to pace around "I can teach you how to bewitch the mind... I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory and even put a stopper in death" one of the girls sighed an annoyed look on her face "sir you've told us that about twenty billion times!" I glared at her "mrs Fulton! If you complain once more I shall have you listen to my words an extra trillion times!" She shrunk down in her seat and I sighed "you all have an idea on what you have to do..." they continued to stare at me "get on with it then!" They picked their quills up and started to write.  After a while a group of girls began to talk quietly "what's the matter?" I asked and no one answered me until one girl got judged by the other "Sir I can't focus" I sighed "and why's that?" I asked "haven't you heard?" Draco asked a slight smirk on his face "no. What?" All the girls began to talk with what looked like fake panicked voices. "Shay's disappeared. They say she's been kidnapped. No one can prove that and no one can prove that it's not true but I say she was kidnapped because I haven't seen her today. The last time I saw her was two days ago" I felt my blood run cold at Draco's words "no I didn't know that... thank you for telling me that mr malfoy" Draco nodded and sniggered with the girls. "But sir what if she's been killed!" I went over to Draco "may I have a word?" He nodded and stood up. We walked out of the room and I got close to him backing him up into the wall "where is she? Don't lie to me" Draco widened his eyes and shook his head "I have no idea sir. I promise I saw her two days ago. I wouldn't lie to you... I'm really concerned sir! What if she's been taken by death eaters? Or-or she's been mistaken as a criminal by the dementors!" I frowned shaking my head "okay. You may go sit back down. Oh great Filch!" Filch turned around "yes professor?" I sighed "please watch my class whilst I go check dementors aren't on the premises" he nodded and walked in draco following behind. I rushed off to find someone who would know where shay would be. I walked into Professor sprouts room and knocked on the door "hello. May I borrow miss granger and mr Weasley" both students looked up before looking at each other and standing up "of course." I stood outside the door watching as both students made their way towards me. "Have you seen shay today?" Ron shook his head and Hermione looked confused "I saw her only two days ago. I didn't see her yesterday or today so I'm not sure" I nodded the panic inside of me starting to get worse. I needed to find her.

I went to my desk and opened the drawer before picking the little parchment up before rushing out of the room again. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" I said and watched as the words and names appeared. I found shay's name before rushing towards where her footsteps were. They were not moving and that's what I was really concerned about. I stopped near the doorway before opening the door and looking around. No one. Absolutely no one. But it said she was here. I looked around until my eyes landed on a wand which lied still on the floor. I picked it up slowly my mouth falling agape. It was hers. My blood began pumping faster "Deletrius" I said quietly and watched as a white light came out of the tip of her wand. "Expecto patronum" I whispered my eyes wide. She was fighting dementors.

I warned Dumbledore and the siren went off alerting all the students. They lined up in the courtyard and I looked around just hoping shay would show up. "Have any of you seen shay?" They all began to talk to each other quietly. I looked around until my eyes landed on someone in a window. I squinted trying to see who it was until my eyes focused and I saw who it was. "Oh thank god" I whispered and rushed off nodding at Dumbledore who got the hint and sent all the kids back to class.

Shay's POV
I wrote a few things down frowning as I heard a quiet siren. I stood up and looked out the window seeing all the students lining up outside. Snape looked panicked and I opened my window listening to Dumbledore "have any of you seen shay?" The students looked at each other and talked quietly. I watched Snape as he looked up at the window he then started running and I frowned. What was going on? I heard frantic knocking on my door and I opened it stumbling backwards slightly as Snape wrapped his arms around me tightly. I held onto him a bit confused "thank god you're okay" I smiled and nodded "yeah I'm fine" he pulled my wand out and I gasped "I was looking for that!" I frowned "why did you leave it in the room of requirement?" My head shot up and I stared at him "oh that malfoy boy is dead" I scowled slightly "Draco said you had been kidnapped" I raised my eyebrows "never believe that boy... he lies... I'm fine. I just wasn't feeling to well and decided to isolate by myself for a while" Snape nodded "I'm just glad you're okay." I smiled and nodded and walked out with him my eyes landing on the blonde boy. I pulled my wand out "Hey malfoy!" He turned around and did a double take before his eyes widened and he started running away "oh no you don't! Locomotor wibbly!" I spat and watched as Draco's legs couldn't hold him up anymore. He tried to walk and hold onto something but his legs just wouldn't work. Snape smiled at me before rushing over to Draco and slapping his head roughly "how dare you young man. You're in so much trouble!"
Draco turned around and glared at me but all I did was laugh and wave. "You're welcome" I called playfully. That malfoy boy is the biggest jerk I've met. Well he's getting what he deserves so it doesn't matter anymore.
