Confronting was an art Yeonjun was the weakest at. If it had been a few years back, then he would have at least tried. Moreover he doesn't expect Jennie to give him a clear answer, for why his hyung's number was on her call list.

Yeonjun does not want to thrown back into the past, only to get hurt.

If Jimin called her, then probably Hueningkai was lying.

"Hobi-hyung wants to do a song. So... I kinda tagged along.", said Hueningkai, on call with Yeonjun.

"Anyone else with you?" He asked, almost longing.

"No." , came Hueningkai's short reply.

Yeonjun was frustrated. How could his youngest lie to him?

While he was skimming through his querries, his phone chimed.

There is something going on.

And right now, Hueningkai couldn't help but wonder what his hyungs had brought back after a trip out.

Still, he decided to keep a low profile, because he needed answers.

He was almost sure, that they didn't arrive here just for a vacation and a filming.

He knew they were here for Yeonjun.

He knew he would find something when he opted to fetch the earphones from Namjoon's room.

And he did.

A large painting of Yeonjun, smeared with flowers and wearing an expression he never knew.

Even when Jungkook shouted at him for meddling in things he is not supposed to, after they found that he saw the painting, Hueningkai didn't talk back

He only said thank you.

A simple word of gratitude, that his hyungs were doing this.

For he had seen how Soobin broke down, almost every night.

How his gum had grown to wear a mask, shielding his inner self from the cunning world.

How his hyung misses Yeonjun.

How much he loves him.

Hueningkai broke down when Hobi engulfed him in a warm hug, ushering to him that everything was okay, and that they were not mad at him.
Jungkook hugged him too, apologizing.

Hueningkai feels happy.
Genuinely happy, that maybe there is still hope.
