The day was bright. Too bright actually. Reason why Heeseung had to wear shades. And God knows how many times he almost bumped into walls and sidewalks.
He somehow made his way to the house and rang the doorbell.

He was greeted by a woman wearing some green mushy thing on her face and a Pikachu head band. Heeseung's first instinct was to flinch but he realised that Jennie Kim may consider it too mainstream.

"Aah! There are you are! It's been an hour simce I asked for that Bubble tea.", Jennie chided, whisking away the cup from his hand.

"40 minutes. And for the last time, Noona, stop ordering me around. I am not your PA!!!", Heeseung cried out.

Jennie smiled cheekily, and said, "Aww... But you love me."

Heeseung huffed out in playful annoyance.
That was true.

Heeseung had moved to LA a couple of years back and he hadn't been too surprised to find Jennie there. She had recognised him almost immediately.
But the biggest surprise was something else.

Jennie suddenly stopped him.
"Oh wait. Leo left these for you yesterday. Something about the dance festival."
Heeseung grabbed the bunch of papers and skimmed through them.
Digital artworks for the upcoming dance competition in the dance school. Something that he had asked Leo to do. Heeseung might have underestimated Leo's talent to do creative work, because the works that he held right now, were beyond perfection.
Very minimalistic, yet clearly potraying the keen aspects of the artform.
The guy doesn't waiver from surprising him.

"Where is he?"

"He said he had some work to do in the gallery. He would discuss this in the evening obviously. And Heeseungie?"

Heeseung turned his head towards her.

"Take of those hideous shades. I can't see half of your face."

Heeseung chuckled a bit and took off the glasses.

"Where is hyung?"

•••••••••••••••

Heeseung hadn't had the opportunity to be initimidated by Yeonjun's Bighit Legendary Trainee agenda, but he looked up to him. As a senior.
And Yeonjun and the others of TXT were probably one of his biggest support for debuting.

"If you ain't debuting through this show, I'm gonna burn the building.", Said Yeonjun, giving a little shoulder hug to Heeseung.
Heeseung laughed and assured him that he will indeed debut.

And when he finally did, he met Yeonjun backstage.
"The building stands.", said Yeonjun, eyeing the ceiling of the I-Land building.
Heeseung laughed, as he was hugged by the senior.
"Welcome to the crackhouse, bud."

"Jin-hyung sometimes tells us that you guys came from an egg.", Yeonjun mumbled out, silently drinking his bubble tea.
Heeseung gave him a blank stare.
"Lame."
Yeonjun suddenly patted his chest dramatically.
"Oh my god! You did not call Kim Seokjin, lame!"
"Wait... Woah what?! The joke is lame. Not him."
"Um... Hello excuse me? Calling Kim Seokjin's jokes lame is a direct insult to him. Dude, that's like the company's first rule."
"Hyung, I am sure he won't crack jokes like that."
"Uh huh. You never know, buddy. You never know."

"There was literally a giant golden egg in the middle of the room in I-Land! You came from an egg, technically.", Said Seokjin, earning a tight slap from Jungkook, who said it was a very very lame dad joke.
Heeseung looked back at Yeonjun, who gave a "what did I tell you?" look.
Heeseung smiled nevertheless.
