"Where were you?", asked Seokjin, eyes getting darker and darker by every syllable that came out of his lips.

Seul-Rin replied that she had some more work at the office and began babbling about another tough order by a client.

"They are expecting it to get finished in two months. Two months. Can you imagine that?! All of that in- Jinnie...?", she stopped as she realised Jin was not responding back, but staring down hard to the floor.

"Babe..?", she called out again, reaching for his clutched fists.

She was thrown off in shock as Jin stood up abruptly, raging.

"Don't touch me, you fucking bitch!!!"

Seokjin jolted awake from that disastrous memory.

It had been almost a year since Seul-Rin left the house.
One year since Seokjin lost his other half.
He barely saw his little dumpling.
Seokjin had lost it all.
Anger management never worked for him. And this very anger and frustration had drove him almost mad.

He is the only one at fault.

He should have known at was all a rumour.
He should have trusted his wife.
But the failure of something so planned, had made him go haywire.

"Come back Rin. Please.", he begged, taking her hands in his own.
She withdrew the hand slowly and walked out of the room.
Yejun kept on crying.
"Eommaaa... Appa!!! I want Appa!!"
Seul-Rin shushed him and let him cry while thrashing around, screaming that he wanted his appa.

Seokjin downed another glass of the whiskey, when he heard a knock on the door.

It opened and Soobin stepped in.

Oh yes. His junior for whom he had done all this. Failure in whose case had left him frustrated and had toppled down his whole married life.

He had expected to stay away from his junior, from everything.

But Soobin thought otherwise.
He didn't leave his brother.

"You never should have, hyung. This is all my fault. I am so sorry.", Soobin cried out.
"Soobin, stop. Now is not the time."
"No!! You helped me once hyung, no, many more. I want to help you. I will talk to Noona!! Hyung, I will get back everything!"
"I said stop, Soobin!!! There is nothing you could do. Just leave."
Soobin stared blankly at the ground. It was the first time his hyung had shouted at him, angry.
"Okay, hyung.", he mumbled out, weak.

"That's enough for today, hyung.", said Soobin, gently whisking away the bottle, ignoring Seokjin's grumpy protests.

"Why didn't you leave, Soo-soo?", blurted out Jin.

Soobin widened his eyes, seemingly surprised by the sudden question.
He smiled slightly, as he lifted up Seokjin in his arms, in bridal style.(Seokjin would be embarrassed as fuck if he was sober.), and settled him in the bed.

"Yah!! Answer my question!!", Seokjin whined out, hitting Soobin in his forearm.

"Because you never left, hyung.", said Soobin.
Seokjin hummed.

"I miss my Yejun, Soo-soo. I saw him yesterday and he was asking me when I will be home.", Seokjin muttered out, as he drew in the duvet towards him.

Soobin sighed.
"I am sorry, hyung."

"Stop saying sorry everytime. It's not gonna help."

"Hmm.", Soobin lowered his eyes.

He then remembered something.

"Ah yes. I got a role today."

"Huh? Which one?"

"One part love. With Jinyoung hyung. I will be his younger brother."

Seokjin beamed.
"Aigoo, my Soo-soo is on a roll. Wait- Jinyoung?!!"

"Yep."

"Hmm. Don't call him Jin-hyung. Call him Jinyoung hyung. Or Junior hyung."

Soobin gave him a blank stare.
"That would be so weird in so many levels."

"Yaah!! I am your Jin-hyung!!!"

Soobin laughed out, "Okay, okay. I will call him Jinyoung hyung. Alright?"

"Hmm, you better."

Seokjin thinks he is much more okay now.
Because Soobin never left. No matter how much he pushed him away.
And he is grateful.

"The filming is in LA."

"What?", Seokjin asked out.

"LA. I don't know why they chose that place though."

"Yaah!! Are there no good places here? Why is everyone so obsessed over foreign stuff?"

"I don't know, hyung. Aah, Heeseung is in LA. He teaches dance there. I want to visit him. If possible."

"Hmm. You sure you don't want me to come with you?"

Soobin nodded.
"Yes, hyung. I will be fine."

"Hmm."

Seokjin slowly extended his hand and placed it on top of Soobin's.

"Soo-soo... you are happy, right?"

Soobin stilled.

If he was asked this question six years back, he would have immediately said yes. For he had not just his love, but his younger brothers too.

But now, he is in a dilemma whether to say no or yes or just simply nod.

He settled for the second option. Because the other person doesn't need to know uf he is telling the truth.

Seokjin smiled wryly.
"I am glad you are, buddy."

Lies.
All of them.

His heart still aches for him.

___________

Short one and a filler.

I am back bitches!

So... well a lot happened.

1. I am mentally okay now I think. There are moments when I completely fall down, but I somehow manage to get back up. And there are people to help me do so.
In the end I feel like all I need is a good warm hug.

2. I missed writing. It's a part of me now. And it didn't seem practical to just leave all this behind.

3. Who's the hottest debut this year?
THAT'S RIGHT ENHYPEN IN DA HOUSE BABY!!!
LEE HEESEUNG, YOU ARE MY BIAS!!
Seriously,  Given or Taken is damn good. I just love the vampire theme. Imma tell my kids that this was Twilight.

4. TXT has helped me loads during this tough time. And I wanna say thank you to the babies. They may not know this or me, but I am truly grateful for them. For my stars, Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai, I love you all.

Stay safe and stay healthy.
