"So, how's San Jose?"

"Still the same. It's been a while since I have been here, Yuna.", said Hueningkai, through the phone.

Oh yes. Same Yuna from Itzy.

Almost a year of subtle little glances at award shows and of course, a small collab performance, had TXT and ITZY, become the best of friends.
They used to hang out sometimes, and apparently their companies were okay with hanging out, unless and until both the groups did not blurt out spoilers for their respective comebacks.

Yuna and Hueningkai, being the maknaes, certainly had special privileges whenever they went out, like an extra grape juice or an extra bowl of ramen. And boy, they were using it to the fullest.

Yuna called Hueningkai after every one of their comebacks, asking if they fared well. And Huening would do the same too.

Yuna was special to Hueningkai.

And vice versa.

Why?

We will get to it later.

Currently, Huening was in call with her, listing out everything that happened when they got to San Jose, including Beomgyu getting scolded and Yoongi being the gang lord.

"Yoongi sunbaenim would be perfect as the gang lord.", Yuna said.

"I don't know. He looks like a cute little cat.", said Hueningkai, getting images of Yoongi in cat ears, in his mind.

"That cute little cat did Daechwita." Yuna shot back.

"Oh yeah, don't remind me. The day it was released I had a room full of hyungs who were banging their heads like no tomorrow.", said Hueningkai, laughing at the memory.
He recollects walking into the artist lounge in Bighit that day, with 10 out of his 11 hyungs banging their heads, back and forth. For a moment he had thought they were possessed. He had watched in shock, while holding Yeontan, who was, so as to say, equally baffled by the ministrations of his owner and his friends. Oh yes, Yoongi was there too, except his head banging was a bit mild.

Yuna chuckled through the phone.
"So, why exactly did they tag you along?"

"Tbh, I don't know. They said it's sort of a vacation, but so far, the only vacation I got was roaming around the hotel. Beomgyu hyung's filming, I don't know what Taehyun is doing there, he told me there was photography stuff, and Soobinnie hyung never gets out, unless he is going to that cafe."

"Ohh, so sad. Wait, did you just say T-B-H?", asked Yuna.

"What... it's easier."

"Unbelievable."

"You mean unbeliebubble?"

"..."

Huening laughed.
"Remind me why I am your friend, Ning-ning.", she spoke out, blank.

"Ah, gotta go. Hobi-hyung wanted to go somewhere. So I'll be off. See ya, Yunz. You take care."

"Bye bye."

Oh, forgot to mention.
Yuna has a crush on Hueningkai.
Yeah.
We'll discuss it later.
