"So... you met him?", asked Jinyoung.
Soobin nodded.
"Right here? In LA?", Jinyoung asked again. Soobin nodded again.
Jinyoung huffed out a slow breath as he pondered over the situation. He knew his fair share of stuff about Yeonjun and Soobin, except he hadn't realised it was this far. Two hours ago he had seen Soobin nearly passed out in the bathroom, with the shower running and him huddled in one corner.
Jinyoung's heart almost broke at the sight.
He had carried his soaked younger out of the bathroom, dried him up and had made him some authentic kimchi fried rice.
When asked about the reason, Soobin had muttered out a single name.
Yeonjun.
Jinyoung cleared his throat to grab Soobin's attention.
"What did he say in the end?"
Soobin perked up, like a deer caught in headlights.
What had Yeonjun told him?
Yes, that they should meet up again.
How?
How can he bring himself to do that? Before that he had said something else.
He had a boyfriend.
Soobin couldn't control his tears as he broke down again, at least this time, into Jinyoung's arms.
"He-he has a .. boyfriend, hyung."Jinyoung stilled. Oh no.
"Hyung... how could he move on so fast? Was I just a nobody? Hyung, he had told me I was the only one, hyung! And now!!!"
Jinyoung could sense Soobin getting more volatile as he spoke out.
"Soob."
Soobin stopped his violent rambling as he gazed upon Jinyoung with teary eyes.
"He asked you something in the end, right? I am sure he wouldn't just leave out of pace."
Soobin sighed shakily.
"He told he would catch up. He would hang out with me."
"So you should."
"Hyung!!" Soobin whined.
"Listen, buddy. Lemme finish. You have been going on with this for too much long. You either shove away all your feelings and fucked up emotions in a bag and throw it away, only to find it back with you again or ... or you face it. You live with it and fight with it until it becomes numb to you. You hang out with him. You talk to him. You talk to his boyfriend. You spent time with him, until you are sure you could live with it. Until you are sure you won't cry or even flinch when you see him again. All these years you were living in "Yeonjun-drought". So right now, just live it. Hang out with him. Talk to him like before. Talk about your idol days. Keep the boyfriends part to a minimum."
Soobin stared hard.
"What if I catch feelings again?"
"You won't buddy. Because you already have them. What I am trying to teach is to live with them. Once you set your footing, you will look back and find that all of this is just one big dream. A good dream. You don't wanna look back and see yourself crying and sobbing over him. I know this is definitely not the best advice. It might even go wrong. But at least you could try."
Soobin hummed.
This is gonna turn out either really good or really really bad.

Falling out of love was never a question of choice for Yeonjun. There was something that always shoved him back to the past. And he believed that the same something had made him talk to Soobin.
