Pari sat with Sana in the back seat. Sana was still crying. Sid sat in the driver's seat and looked through the mirror. His heart broke to see her cry like this. He should have not left the room last night. She had said she was scared. And he was not there with his love. Nobody can understand the depth of his love for her. He will make everything beautiful for her. Just the way she deserves. He had not insisted on breakfast again. Didn't want one more explosion. Sid gave the bottle of water  in Adi's hand. He opened the lid and gave it to Sana.
Adi: Sana pani pe le.
Sana took it from Adi and drank from the bottle. Sid let out a sigh of relief. She rested her head on Pari's shoulder and Pari hugged her back. They drove to the resort and reached within forty five minutes. They were welcomed by the family members who were having breakfast together in the dining hall. Sana excused herself and went to her room. She lay on the bed. Her heart felt heavy. She cried and cried and fell asleep. There was a knock on the door and her mother came in with the plate of food.  She saw Sana's face and knew she had cried a lot. Sid had told Sana's parents she was upset with everything that has happened to her. He had told Sana's mummy that she has not eaten properly since yesterday and requested her to feed Sana.
Mummy: Tere leye kuch khaane laai hu. Khaa le. Chal mai khilati hu.
Her mummy started feeding her paratha and tears started streaming her eyes. She wiped her tears. Sana hugged her mummy.
Mummy: Mat ro mere bacchi. Mat ro. Chal kha.
Sana's mom fed her and she eat quietly listening to her mummy telling tales from her childhood. She really felt better after she had eaten. Her mummy then took Sana's hand in hers.
Mummy: Beta jo bhi hua vo tere sath galat hua. Usme sirf tu nhi hum sab galat the. Par ab sab theek hone jaa raha hai tere zindagi me. Siddharth hera hai hera. Usne hum pe, tujpe, sab pe badi musibat aane se bachai hai. Tu thoda waqt de tum dono ke rishte ko. Sab theek ho jaayega. Aur yeh aise tu ro kyu rahi hai. Tu to meri sherni hai aur tu ro rahi hai?? Bas kar de ab aur jaa Siddharth ke kamre me jaa. Vo ab tera kamra hai. Uske sath tuje rehna chahiye.
    Sana did not say anything.
Mummy: Apni haalat thek kar aur jaa Sid ke kamre me beta. Uski mummy papa kya soochenge.
Mummy went and Sana went to the bathroom. She freshen herself up and came out. She had not looked at her mobile from last night. She switched it on and was stunned with news of her and Sid's marriage. Sheetal has played the sympathy card and told the world how, Sid had to sacrifice their love to save Sana from embarrassment because Sana's would be husband ran away the night before their wedding. There were at least a hundred missed call. Half of them were from her manager. The news had been released today morning at ten. It's been just two hours and the social media was full of it. Sana's blood started boiling. This was all Sheetal's doing. She called her manager and told him everything. Her manager was a very efficient and influential person. He told her not to worry, but had asked her to come to Punjab. Sana has asked him for a weeks time. She told him she will have to go to Mumbai now. But will come by in a week. He told her to relax and enjoy her days. Now it was Sid's turn.
She walked to his room and barged in. He was on a call.
Sana: Yeh kya hai?? Tuje uska muh band nhi karvana chahiye tha?? Vo sympathy card khel rahi hai aur muje tum dono ke pyaar ka dushman banaya hai.
Sid disconnected the call and was looking at her. She looked so beautiful when she was angry.
Sid: Muje nhi laga tha ke vo aise kar sakti hai mere sath. I'm shocked.
Sana: Logo ko bata rahi hai ke tumne kitna bada ehsaan kiya hai khud ke pyaar ka gala ghot kar aur mujse shaadi kar ke. Vaise sab log muje yahi jata rahi hai ke tera kitna bada karz hai mujpe. Meri mummy bhi vohi bol kar gayi ke tu ne muj pe aur mere maa baap pe kitna pada upkaar kiya. Chal bata ab mai yeh upkaar kaisi utaru?? Kya karu ke yeh boj muje kam lagne lage.
She slid the palu of her saree down.
Sana: Tu chahe to muje....
Sid rushed towards her and took her neck in his hand, his fingers around it.
Sid: Jee chahta hai tera gaala daba ke maar du mai. Tuje sharam nhi aati?? Tu kya ban gayi hai Sana??
Sana: Ha maar daal muje. Mai bhi thak gayi hu. Ab to shaayad zindagi bhar tere ehsaan ke tale dabe rehna padega muje. Isse to maut acchi.
Sid: Koi aur hota to maar he deta. Tuje nhi maar sakta. Tuje taklif me nhi dekh sakta. Yeh meri majburi hai aur meri iss majburi ka fayda uthati hai tu.
He pushed her and looked at her with hurt and pain in his eyes. He moved and went into the bathroom. Sana at that moment realised she has said too much this time. She knows he had done a favor on her. She should be grateful to him and here she is hurting and insulting him all the time. She is taking his silence and patience for granted. This is not right. He has done wrong to her, but he was the one who has done the right thing when she was in a worst situation. And now giving herself in this manner to him was wrong on her part. She must apologize to him. She saw his phone was ringing. If her name was tarnished today, his name was also been taken in the media. Questions were also raised on him. She is not the only one suffering. He was suffering too. Sid came out of the bathroom, took his mobile and left out of the room. She sat in his room looking in space.
Sid instructed his manager about how to handle the news and disconnected the call. He switched it off. He will see what is to be done when he reaches mumbai. Today was their reception and they would be leaving for Mumbai the next day in the afternoon. He went to Maa's room. Maa was on a call. She saw him and gave him a motherly smile. This is everything. It gives him peace when his Maa sees and smiles at him like this. Maa disconnected the call. Sid went and lay his head on her lap. Maa moved her fingers in Sid's hair lovingly.
Maa: Pareshaan hai??
Sid: Thak gaya hu Maa.
Maa: Tuje pata hai, jab tu chota tha na to tu bahot ziddi tha. Agar koi cheez tuje chahiye hoti to tu usse kisi bhi tarah haasil karta tha. Logo se lad kar, zagad kar. Kisi bhi tarah. Par ab yeh jo tere paas hai, jo tune haasil kiya hai vo tuje tere kismat se mila hai. Tu uske leya lada ya zagda nhi. Kismat ne diya hai. To usse bahot pyaar se rakh. Kyuki vo tuje tere naseeb ne diya hua gift hai. Samjha beta.
Sid: Pata nhi Maa. Maa Sana mere sath khush nhi reh paayegi.
Maa: Thoda time de usse beta. Uske leye yeh aasaan nhi tha. Ek ladki ke leye uski shaadi ke din uska dulha bhag jaana. Sooch uski dil ke haalat kya hogi. Self respect ke to dhajjiyaan ud gayi hogi uski.
Sid: Usse lagta hai ke maine us par aur uske Mummy papa par ehsaan kiya hai. Aur usse kisi bhi tarah vo ehsaan utaar na hai.
Maa: Beta thodi der ke leye khud ko uski jagah par rakh kar dekh. Kya vo galat hai??
Sid: Nahi Maa par vo kuch aise bolti hai ya karti hai ke muje bahot hurt hota hai.
Maa: Waqt de beta usse waqt de.
Reet came in and saw Sid. Sid sat upright. Reet went to him and kissed his forehead. Sat next to him and took his hand. She had tears in her eyes.
Reet: Tuje bolne ka time nhi mila par tune jo Sana ke leye kiya....
Sid: Chachi ab aap mat shuru ho jaao yaar. Please. Ek request hai aap logo se ke koi Sana ke saamne yeh mat jatao ke maine koi meherbaani ke hai usse shaadi karke. Uske mann pe boj hai. Aur mat bhari karo uska mann.
Chachi: Par yeh sach...
Maa: Reet vo tera beta hai. Tera haq hai uspe. Yeh kya baate le kar bait gayi.
Sid: Aur bahot chahiye the na aapko bahu?? Jab dekho tab ladte rehte the na mujse bahu ke leye??. Lo aa gayi aapke leye bahu. Ab dekhta hu, usse bahu kehte ho ya muje daamaad.
Reet: Hayee. Pagal hai tu?? Tu mera beta hai. Aur Sana se to mai dusre saaso ke tarah he rahungi. Bada maza aane wala hai muje. Saas banke.
Sid: Are chachi meri biwi ko zyaada satana nhi please.
Reet: Fir mere saas banne ka kya fayda??
They laughed at it. Baba came in the room.
Baba: Yeh kya chal raha hai?? Itni hasi??
Baba came to Sid and hugged him.
Baba: I'm proud of you my son. Very proud of you.
They all were praising for what he has done. But they did not knew this was his life's greatest desire. His only dream. Which has come true. But he was angry with Sana. The way she stood in front of him so that he can take her in return of what he has done for her and her family showed how little she knows him. Chachu too joined them and they all sat chatting. It was lunch time. They all moved to the dining hall. Sid went to his room saying he will join them in five minutes.
He entered the room and to his surprise found Sana's bags in his room. She was hanging her dress in his wardrobe. He was surprised but did not say anything. He went to the bathroom as he has forgotten his watch there. Took it and came out.
Sana: Vo Maa ka call tha. Lunch ke leye bula rahi hai.
    He didn't look her way.
Sid: Chal.
They walked to the dinning hall. Sana wanted to say sorry. But he was not looking at her. Sid took his plate and went and sat with Adi, Viju and Shehbaaz. Sana sat with Maa, Reet, her Mummy and Sid's sisters. She looked his way but he was sitting with his back to her.
Reet: Sana 3:30 baje tak beautician aa jaayegi tuje ready karne ke leye. Apna saamaan thoda bahot pack kar lena. Kal nikalna hai hame.
Sana's mummy had tears in her eyes. Her daughter will be staying away from her.
Mummy: Didi aapko jab sahi lage to Sana ko kuch deeno ke leye bhej dena. Uske dadaji aur beeji usse bahot yaad karenge ab.
Maa: Parmindar vo teri beti hai. Tu usse jab chahe tab bula sakti hai. Uske leye tuje mujse ya kise se bhi ijazat ke zarurat nhi hai. Samji??
Sana's Mummy nodded and Sana hugged her mummy. Sana came to the room and went to keep the jewelry Maa has given her to wear for reception in the wardrobe. She opened the cupboard to find her black gown kept folded in the corner. She picked the gown to find the blue velvet box under it. It was that sapphire necklace box. All the memories came gushing in her mind. She heard the door open and turned around to see Sid enter the room.
Sid saw her standing near the wardrobe with that black gown in her hand and the look in her eyes shook him. He too was remembering that night.
