Sana Is Missing.

One more month has passed without Sid. It was more painful without him, when he had visited her and gone. She has kept one of his t- shirt with her and slept hugging it, smelling in his fragrance. Sana had almost finished her work in Punjab now. Sana has gone one weekend to Mumbai as Sid was angry with her over She not taking care of herself. She had told him she will come and he can take care as much as he pleases. Sid had come to receive her at the airport happiness in his eyes and face. He had hugged her tight and kissed her check not caring who is looking at them. They had spend these two days mostly in their room fulfilling each others hunger. The goodbyes were as always painful.
And now when she has almost finished all her shoots and projects in Punjab, she thought of packing her things and flying back to her husband. Sid was also enthusiastic about it. He had told her to change the interior of their room as she wishes too. This has made Sana very happy. They both had started planning on the furnitures and colour too. But the ultimate decision would be of Sana's. She had warned him and he had agreed. She had a flat in Mohali. She thought of talking about what to do of it to her papa. She went down to their room and stopped when she heard Sid's name from her mummy.
Mummy: Siddharth jaisa accha dammad mila hai hame. Hum bahot khush kismat hai. Itne hone ke baad bhi usne Sana ko musibat me dekh kar uska hath thama. Nahi to kitni badnaami hoti uski.
Sid's papa: Udaipur me usne Sana ka maan rakha. Mere uss kasam ke wajah se Siddharth ne Sana ko nau saal pehle apne se dur kiya tha. Par usne koi cheez mann me nhi rakhi jab Sana pe musibat aayi.
Sana's Mummy: Siddharth ne aapko mana kiya hai na vo promise ke baareme  batane ke leye Sana ko??
Sana's Papa: Ha. Usne bolo ke vo khud bata dega waqt aane pe us ko. Maine usse kaha hai ke mai to kuch nhi khaunga, par tum jaldi se jaldi bata do. Usne kaha ke usse thoda time chahiye. Chalo dekhte hai kya hota hai. Par uss ladke ne mere kasam ka maan rakha.
Sana felt the floor should open beneath her and elope her in it. What is all this about. She burst open the door.
Sana: Yeh aap log kya baate kar rahe ho?? Mummy?? Papa?? Kaisa promise??
Mummy: Sana Tu thoda shant ho beta. Tu aise kaap kyu rahi hai??
Sana: Konse promise?? Aap ne kya promise le the Siddharth se?? Papa mujhe sach batao. Kya hai yeh sab??
Papa: Sana tu pani pe pehle. Tera chehra safeed pad gaya hai. Aise koi baat nhi hai. Vo to aise he....
Sana: Nahi peena mujhe paani. Papa mujhe sach sunna hai aur abhi sunna hai.
Sana was yelling her lungs out by now. She has lost all control. She has got the jest. If what she is thinking is true she has been betrayed by two most important men of her life. Mummy came forward and made a sit on the sofa.
Mummy: Sana beta mat kar aise. Tu rona band kar.
Sana: Mummy Papa konsi promise ke baare me baat kar rahe hai?? Please bolo na unko mujhe batane ke leye.
Papa: Thek hai thek hai sunn.
And Sana's Papa told her everything. She sat there for a while in a shock and then got up and left the house. Mummy and Papa tried to stop her, but she was not in any mood to listen. She drove far away from the house. Tears were just flowing, not willing to stop.
It was eight in the evening. He had just come from his shoot. Too tired he went to his room and went directly in the bathroom to take a bath. There were three missed calls from Sana's papa when he came out. He was surprised. He had spoken to Sana in the morning. They both were really excited that now not many days are left for them to be together. He had wanted her to come back as soon as she finishes everything there and she had promised she will.
Sid wondered why Sana's papa had called him. He suddenly got worried. Is Sana alright?? As anything happen to my love?? He immediately called her papa.
Sid: Namaste Papa. Call kiya tha aapne??
Papa: Beta vo Sana ko sab pata chal gaya hai.
Sid's heart sank.
Sid: Kis baare me??
Papa: Vo jo maine tumse nau saal pehle vada liya tha usse baare me.
Oh God. Now this was what he had feared. He had tried talking to her, but she had denied speaking about anything which would disturb the current peace and love between them. His heart started beating faster.
Sid: Papa maine mana kiya tha na batane ke leye?? Kaha hai vo. Mai call karta hu usse. Aap tension na lo.
Papa: Teen ghante pehle car leke
ghar se nikli hai. Kitna rokne ke koshish ke par rote rote ghar se nikal gayi. Mobile bhi switch off aa raha hai.
Sid: Teen ghante pehle?? Aap ko mujhe pehle he call karna chahiye tha na?? Mai try karta hu.
He disconnected the call. His hands where shivering. He dialled her number and was switched off. He dialled again and again as if doing so will connect his call. He called Pari.
Pari: Kaise ho bhai?? Aaj behen ke yaad aa gayi??
Sid: Pari Sana ko vo promise ke baare me pata chal gaya hai.
Pari: O God. Bhai kaisi. Ab kaha hai vo?? Aapne baat ke usse??
Sid: Vo ghar se car leke nikli hai teen ghante pehle. Mobile bhi switched off hai. Mujhe bahot darr lag raha hai.
Pari: Bhai mai aur Adi abhi aa rahe hai vaha.
He disconnected the call. He cannot sit ideal here. He need to do something. He called his manager and told him to book a ticket for him.
Arun: Par Sir kal aapki early morning shoot hai.
Sid: To hell with the shoot. Arun agar tum aise time pe manage nhi kar sakte to tum yeh job chod do.
Arun: Ok ok sir. Aap thoda calm down ho jaao aur mai ticket book karta hu.
Sid packed his bag, waiting for Arun's call. He was pacing the floor dialling continuously Sana's number. Pari and Adi came.
Adi: Kya hua hai??
Sid: Pari yeh ladki na mujhe sukun se kab rehne degi. Kaha hai yaar yeh. Mobile aise koi switch off karke ghar se gaayab hota hai kya. Kya karu mai iska??
Pari: Mai bhi try kar rahi hu. Band he aa raha hai.
Sid: Kahi kuch hua to nhi hoga na usse. Car leke nikli hai. Bahot Pareshaan hogi yeh sab sun kar. Mujhe bahot darr lag raha hai yaar.
Pari: Bhai aap itna mat soocho. Gussa hai isliye phone band kiya hoga.
Sid: Aise koi karta hai kya??
Adi: Sid uske point of view se bhi sooch. Jis shiddat se vo ladki apne sola saal ke age se tujse pyaar karti hai na, aisa bahot kam dekhne milta hai.
Sid: Aur mai?? Mai nhi karta kya??
Adi: Kya vo, usse pata hai?? Sab baate sirf tu he jaanta hai. Vo to kuch bhi nhi jaanti na??
Sid: Shit shit yaar. Yeh Arun ka call kyu nhi aaya abhi tak.
And his mobile started buzzing. Arun had booked a ticket for him. Pari was dialling Sana's number. And it suddenly started ringing. Sana picked up the call.
Pari: Sana?? Sana tujhe meri aawaaz aa rahi hai?? Kaha hai tu??
Sid rushed to Pari and snatched the mobile from her.
Sid: Sana?? Baby....
Sana: Tune mujhe dhoka diya na Siddharth?? Itna bada faisla khud ne liya na?? Tu ne mere sath bahot galat kiya hai. Mai tuje aur Papa ko kabhi maaf nhi karungi
Sana was crying and speaking at the same time.
Sid: Sana meri baat sunn...
Sana disconnected the call.
Sid: Hello?? Sana?? Sana??
Sid dialled the number. It was switched off again.
Sid: Chal mai jaa raha hu. Abhi ghar par kuch mat batana. Mai bol dunga, ke Sana se milne jaa raha hu.
Sid came out of the airport and called Shehbaaz.
Sid: Kuch pata chala Shehbaaz?? Kaha hai yaar yeh. Aadhi raat ho gayi hai.
Shehbaaz: Bhai aap ghar aao fir dekhte hai.
He reached home. Sana's Mummy was crying and his papa was also sitting with his head in his hand.
Sid: Kuch pata chala??
They shook their head.
Sid: Kya kare Shehbaaz??
Shehbaaz: Police complain kare??
Sid: Nahi media ko zara bhi bhanak lagi na to bada tamasha ho jaayega.
Sid tried to console Sana's mom.
Sid: Mummy kuch nhi hoga usse. Aa jaayegi vo. Thodi pareshaan hai aur gussa bhi. Aa jaayegi.
Shehbaaz mobile started ringing. It was Sana's call.
Shehbaaz: Sana kaha hai tu. Dekh tu aa jaa. Mummy bahot pareshaan hai. Bahot roo rahi hai.
Sana: Shehbaaz mai thek hu. Mummy ko bol mai thek hu. Filhaal mujhe kisise nhi milna hai. Mummy ko bol mai unhe call karungi. Baad me.
Sana disconnected the call. Sid was standing next to him anxious to know what she said. He had not taken the mobile from Shehbaaz fearing she would cut the call knowing he was here.
Sid: Kaha hai vo?? Kya bol rahi the??
Shehbaaz: Kaha vo thek hai. Mummy ko tension na lene ko kaha. Aur kaha ke baad me call karegi.
Sid: Kaha ho sakti hai vo??
Shehbaaz: Mujhe to ek he possibility lagti hai??
Sid: Kya??
Shehbaaz: Mohali.
Sid: Mohali???
