Sid met Reet in the doorway.
Sid: Kaisi hai Sana chachi??
Reet: Kuch nhi khaaya usne. Bahot thak gayi hai. Neend aa rahi the usko. Sula diya hai. Agar baad me kuch mange to utha dena. Mai bana ke deti hu.
Sid: Thek hai chachi. Chachi maine Sana ko aise daatna nhi chahiye tha na??
Reet: Hmmmm. Par koi baat nhi beta. Tu pareshaan tha uske leye isliye tu emotional ho gaya. Ho jaata hai. Jaa tu bhi aaraam kar. Accha tu ne khaaya kuch??
Sid: Nahi chachi abhi mann nhi hai. Agar lage to Mai dekh lunga.
Reet: Dekh lunga nahi, mujhe utha dena.
Sid: I love you chachi.
Reet: I love you too mere bacche. Khayaal rakh uska.
Sid: Jee chachi.
Sid went inside the room and walked to the bed. Sana was sleeping facing his side of the bed. He stood there looking at her. There were lines, around her eyes. She must be very tired. Her hair were wet. She must have taken a bath. She looked so fragile. A tear dropped from his eye. Am I a good husband?? I may not be. Because if I was I would have solved whatever the issue I had with her before leaving for Dubai. She must be so hurt by this behavior of his. Because if he was a good husband he would have not yelled at her when she came back home today. He would have understood her pain and trauma she must have gone through. No he is not a good husband. He definitely is not. But he loves her too much. He knows nobody can love Sana as he does. He makes mistakes. A lot of them. But his love for her is immense. And it will remain the same until he dies.
Sid wiped his tear and walked to the bathroom. He came back and lay on the bed facing her. He drank her in. He was so scared for his jaan. He lifted a finger and removed a lock of hair from her face and shifted it to the back of her ears. She stirred in her sleep. Sid switched off the lamp from his side. He went closer to Sana and pulled her to him. She resisted in her sleep. Sid did not knew what to do. He let her be. But the next second she went in his arms, laying her head on his chest. This brought tears in Sid's eyes and a smile on his lips. This is where he wants her to be. This is where she belongs. Sleep took over him.
Sid felt being shaken in his sleep. It was Sana. He opened his eyes to see hers half open looking at him.
Sid: Kya hua baby?? Tu thek hai?? Tujhe kuch chahiye??
Sana: Pani. Pani chahiye mujhe.
Sid: Ha ha.
Sid got up poured water in a glass from the jug kept on the side table and brought it to her. He brought the glass to her mouth and she drank from it. She lay on the bed again. Sid looked at her. He kept the glass back and sat next to her. It was three at night.
Sid: Sana?? Baby kuch khana hai??
    Sana shook her head.
Sid: Tune raat me kuch nhi khaaya. Tu chahe to Mai kuch le aata hu kitchen se. Ya dudh piyegi??
Sana: Nahi Siddharth mujhe kuch nhi chahiye. Mujhe sona hai.
Sid: Accha thek hai. Thek hai. So jaa tu.
Sid too lay on the bed and she turned her back to him and he pulled her to him. Sid was now sleeping with his arms encircling her from behind. It was six thirty when he felt Sana's body warm against his. She was whimpering. He got up and brought his hand to her forehead to find it hot. Her face has gone red. He sat upright.
Sana: Siddharth pani....
Sid: Ha ha
He gave her water and made her lay on the bed
Sid: Baby tujhe fever hai. Mai abhi Maa ko bula ke aata hu.
He ran down stairs to find Maa and Reet in the kitchen.
Reet: Siddharth....
Sid: Chachi vo Sana ko fever hai bahot.
They all rushed to his room to find her burning with fever.
Reet: Kya kare didi??
Sid: Maa paracetamol de??
Maa: Siddharth vo pregnant hai. Aise he kuch bhi dawai nhi dete beta. Reet tu doctor ko call laga.
Sid: Itne subah...
Reet: Koi problem nhi. Vo samaj jaayegi.
Reet spoke to the doctor. Sid was looking at Sana's face. She looked so pale.
Reet: Didi doctor ne medicine ka naam message kiya hai. Siddharth mangva le beta.
Sid: Jee chachi.
Reet  came towards Sana where Maa was sitting.
Reet: Sana beta?? Kya ho raha hai??
Sana: Aani sar me dard hai.
Maa: Siddharth abhi dawai manga raha hai beta. Tujhe thek lagega dawai kha kar.
Reet: Par usse pehle tujhe kuch khaana hai. Doctor ne strictly kaha hai ke kuch khela kar he dawai dena.
Sid had made a call to the store and had ordered the medicines.
Sid: Aa jaayegi medicine abhi fifteen minutes me.
Reet: Siddharth mai abhi usse kuch khaane ke leye bhej rahi hu. Tu isse khila dena beta. Aur uske baad he medicine dena.
Sid: Thek hai chachi
Maa and Chachi left the room. Sid sat on the bed next to Sana watching her.
Sana: Siddharth mujhe apne baho me le.
Sid: Kyu nhi meri jaan. Aaja.
Sid took her in his arms. She felt so content and happy there.
Sana: I missed you.
Sid felt a lump in his throat. He could not speak. He tighten his arms resting his cheek on her head. There was a knock on the door after a few minutes. He opened the door and took a bowl of porridge from Suresh. He thanked Suresh and closed the door.
Sid came to the bed. Kept the bowl on the table and helped Sana to sit upright, adjusting the pillow behind her to rest her back properly.
Sid: Sana?? Baby chal uth. Dekh chachi ne tere leye bheja hai. Pura finish karna hai ha.
Sana: Mujhe pehle fresh ho na hai.
Sid helped her to get freshen up and brought her back to the bed. He fed her the porridge with the spoon. She drank a few spoons quietly.
Sana: Siddharth bass. Nahi khaaya jaa raha hai.
Sid: Baby aise nhi chalega. Tujhe medicine khaana hai. You will have to finish this.
Sana: Siddharth....
Sid: Please baby. Please.
Sana: Ab aise muh banayega to peena he padega na.
Sid chuckled and started feeding her again. She finished the food from the bowl. Sana was watching him as he kept the bowl on the table, brought the glass of water to her mouth, made her take a few sips and wiped her mouth with a tissue. She loved him so much. Tears formed in her eyes. Sid looked at her and their eyes met.
Sana: I love you Siddharth. Mai....
Sid: Shhhh
He took her face in his hand and kissed her forehead.
Sid: I love you too meri jaan.
Sana: Mai...
Sid: Baby hum baad me baat karenge. Mai hu. Hamesha tere sath hu. Tere pass hu. Thek hai??
Sana: Hmmm
There was a knock on the door. Suresh came with the medicines. Sid fed her the medicines and made her lay on the bed.
Sana: Tu bhi late mere pass.
Sid: Ok sweetheart.
He lay down with her in his arms. Sana has dozed off immediately. But Sid was awake. He was thinking about what baba said. Baba was right. He should never talk to Sana in this manner. Fighting with each other is normal. But saying things to his wife in presence of others is so wrong. He should maintain the dignity of his wife as well as his. And this trivial issue about sheetal and Aahaan. They will solve when she feels ok. He was happy that he is not going anywhere now. He decided that he will not take any outdoor projects for a time being now. Not at least for a year. He will be there, available for his wife and child whenever they need him. He will have to bring his life on track now. Be a bit organised where Sana and his baby is concerned. He will have to work on how to keep his Sana happy and make her remain happy. He definitely will do that.
