Chapter 21 - Inspector Kim Nana and Ying Jandi

I sit up from my bed and turn my face to Jandi who is equally looking at me.

"Do you think it's already pass nine."I asked while looking at Jandi to confirm if it's our time.

"I think it should be around to eight or nine." Jandi answered as she looks outside the windows ..weighing the weather.

"Are you sure? I asked and she nods her head ..yes which made me stand up and move to my dressing room then sit down in front of my huge mirror as that's the response I was waiting for.

I watch Jan-di get up from the sofa and come up to me. She started packing my hair in a donut style as that's what I want at the moment and also because my hair is way too long and sometimes, it gets in my way.

I look up at Jan-di through the mirror, wanting to know why she stopped packing my hair suddenly ..I watch her staring at my neck in shock which made me to do the same and immediately my eyes land on my neck ..i gasp, there were blue and red mark on my neck, chest and abdomen.

"Hickeys! Nana said teasingly now laughing.

"This is so dense and horrible! I muttered as I try to shake the vision of Wuji kissing me that's now hovering in my mind but I couldn't get him out.

I started breathing a little fast, and goosebumps suddenly emerge. I feel my small face becoming hot and red. Last night, i was excited too.!

"Nana." I heard Jan-di calling but I was too far gone, I felt as if I am dreaming and that I'm hearing her voice in my dream "..if only she knows where my mind is currently in." I mutter to myself while chuckling which I guess annoyed Jan-di as I started feeling her shaking my body.

"What! I mutter ..now facing her while frowning.

"The time, lady Nana and the plan." Jan-di whisper. Immediately, I stand up ..hug her in thanks and begin to tie my hair properly as I tell her what to do.

"So you still remember the plan right? I asked a now sitting Jan-di who has a scared expression on her face which would have made me laugh at her mood if what we're about to do isn't so serious and important to me.

"I do Her Highness.." Jan-di started to say but I interrupt her because I know what she will say next and now is not the time and right place to say it.

"Nana." I said through a closed teeth, angry that she called me that when we're not in the presence of the Emperor or others who might find it offensive. "I thought we've bonded." I said with a sad face.

"We have and I do Lady Nana but what if he see's us and we're not even sure if he knows ..what if his mom didn't tell him?

And what if somehow the emperor now find out? Jandi asked worriedly.

"The Emperor won't find out and Sangyun knows ..Jandi, besides.. if he doesn't know it still better that we know for sure. I need to know if my brother is alive for sure;

"I heard them, him and Queen mother discussing about me.. They hate me but I don't care what they think about me. All I want is my brother." I said as unwanted tears begin to form around my eyes.

I feel Jan-di hands rap around me, hugging me tightly as she says some consoling words.

"Please don't cry Empress." Jan-di whispers not wanting to alert the guards.

"Ok.. I won't but only because I know I will find something on them that will make them release my brother ..besides, she promised me. That woman is so bad and not trust wordy ..sometimes i wonder why god had to make her the Emperor's mother. I hate the son and I hate the mother even more. Maybe being wicked is in there gene .. Anyways, Jan-di .. You know the plan." I said the last part to Jan-di who immediately get to work.

I watch her exist my entrance then I started counting numbers ..planning on going out when I have counted up to a hundred, at least then ..the guards won't suspect anything. They might just take it that I went to look for Jan-di who I sent on an errand but for some reason in the kitchen she's running late ..i pray though that whatever they are thinking that their mind won't tell them to follow us.
