Chapter 87 - Sorry, it happened yesterday

"Queen Inna testified against her and so did Min Jun, Hwa and Ok Taecyeon the prime minister of our neighboring town ..Dultha and Ying YiRen, my father. Can you believe it lady Nana, he came forth. He testified!." Jandi yelled excitedly.

"Hwa." I mouthed confused and very astonished.

"What about Hwa." She asked still smiling, I have a feeling she didn't celebrate this great news then because she was agitated about the whole thing with Yabo, but now that she has let go, she's letting the excitement in.

And she's really happy.

"Am just you know she.. She, hmm.. who made her come clean and how did she get here ..did Min Jun captured her when he went back to the old manor for the prisoners?" I asked so eager to know more. God I've missed a lot while being cooped up inside this room for almost four days.

"She came by herself, apparently she also saw her mother as a very evil person and she happens to hate her like us all. She said she couldn't come clean because she was scared of her and that now that she's sure that her mother is going to pay for all she made her do and all she's has done, she felt it's only right to set her soul at peace."

"Oh Jandi, why didn't you tell me this since _you know how I've always wanted to see this day." I asked looking at her for some explanation but she just looks at me as if I should know. I continued to look at her which I guess made her to avert her eyes from mine and then sign before looking back up at me.

"Remember earlier when I told you that I lied to the Emperor?" She asked and I nodded my head yes. "Well he told me to call you to the trail hall but I didn't tell you about it because I was angry at you and I told him afterwards that you said you're tired and that you need to rest.

Am sorry I lied, I know how much you wanted to see Kyung-shook getting justice and I know how you want to see your mother and brother so badly. I was really angry, am sorry." She pleaded and I told her that it's OK, it's not even that important ..as far as Kyung-shook is unmasked and is now known by all that she's the real traitor, am happy and as for mother and brother ..I can go see them later today that's if my husband let me because it seems like I'm in house arrest.

"So where's Hwa now." I asked curiously.

"She was arrested for deceitfully getting you out of the palace and into danger. She's to stay at Dodi for ten years and she'll be getting all she needs, it's more like house arrest except she isn't staying in her own room.

I looked at her in astonishment, I didn't know all this ..of course I didn't know, How would I? ..i'm just, I thought brother and mother are still in the palace.. Wait, wait ..mother. "Jandi, mother ..is mother still here, is she alright?. I asked holding Jandi face up to mine in question.

She looked at me with guilt once again which has me worried. "She left with your brother, your husband told them the same excuse I gave to him ..that you're tired and you don't want to see anyone." She continued to look at me but I refuse to look at her, I really wanted to see mother and to think that I thought my husband has been avoiding me all these while.

"Am really sorry, lady Nana" Jandi pleaded.

"Am not mad at you Jandi ..I understand that you were angry when you said those things, it's just that I really wanted to be there and you know Shilli is far and I don't think my husband will let me travel considering that am pregnant." I said and after a while ..I asked. "You're not angry at me anymore right?

"No Lady Nana and I think soon, maybe a day or two ..now that I think the Emperor thinks you're avoiding him, he'll soon asks for you and perhaps he might even come by himself." Jandi said smiling and the thought of the Emperor coming by himself made me smile.
