Chapter 60 - Rumors

As I enter the palace I noticed all the palace guards are already lining up at the entrance, including the OBT squad which are now owned by the Empress but although they're hers to obey, they also have a leader who by the name Tae-hwan ..trains them every two hours in the morning and four every evening.

When I entered fully, I jump down from my horse and wave Min Yong hwan over then begin walking towards the third and main entrance as I asked a now walking beside me ..Min Yong hwan some questions.

"Was she angry when she found out that I left?

"A little his Highness." He replied and I asked him to tell me all that happened while I was gone ..which he did.

Apparently, most of it revolves around my godmother and her children. Throughout my stay in my new house, I've been thinking about how I'm going to handle what Kyung-sook did. She did wrong. She betrayed mother, she betrayed my love for her.

What's really amusing and at the same time disturbing is the rumor about Hwa having to die because she committed an abomination by having sexual intercourse with me. I must confess that I laughed when Min Yong hwan was telling me this. It is amusing and I figured Hwa might have been the one who sets the rumor ablaze, she's such a spoiled child ..a very spoiled child that's too big for flogging.

I hope my little but fierce wife haven't heard this bullshit for I know how she reacts when she's angry or disappointed and I don't want that. I've had enough headache and what I need now is to love her as I have very much missed her. I so terribly miss her lips, laughter, body, ..all of her.

Some part of me know that even if she isn't angry at me, she sure have a lot of questions for me and I think she's angry ..for she isn't here to welcome me.

"You can go back to your duties Yong hwan;" I said to Min Yong hwan who turned to me, bow and then went back to his post. After, I turn to Yabo and some other guards that are standing beside him. "Yabo, I want you to take two of these men to wherever Kyung-sook is and take her to the yellou lum. If she asks you the reason for your actions, tell her that she will find out tomorrow morning.
