Chapter 58 - Who is her father?

Since the day before yesterday, my husband hasn't been home but that's because he left, right after the meeting with the dosi King's. The speaker, Baek Sunghyun had came to me after, with the information which the Emperor had kindly remembered to tell him to let me know ..that he will be back on the third, which is today but he left his whereabouts information unknown. It's not like it's a secret though, he just didn't tell me or either still informed his speaker to include it in his information.

He went to his new building in Doyi town, apparently rumor has it that it's built for me and I figured it's true because he'd asked me to be in the meeting with him and I'd agreed but a lot of things happened that day which made me not to attend it. I guess he took my lack of presence as a no and decided to go alone.

Throughout those days, I have missed him so terribly and I still do. I wonder if he misses me and somehow I know he does.

Sangyun survived but he's still hallucinating, apparently he had lost a lot of blood which sent him to the world of crazed people ..where he's currently seeing his unborn twins. Some said he lost it right before the machete even touched his elbow, maybe this is true or maybe it's rumors, I wouldn't know because I haven't actually visited him in the town doctor's house and neither am I planning to.

After having Seo-jun and Seo-Yong search the whole palace, they found Min Yong hwan in the construction site, digging up borehole with the main constructors. Apparently to him, the Emperor showed him mercy not minding the fact that he hadn't eaten and he wasn't allowed to until noon.

I've been debating whether I should add this reigning gossip to the list of my worries ..I mean, they're just gossips right..? But the thing is, this gossip sound so true.

"Lady Nana, you worry too much and it's just rumors." Jandi said for the third time. I hadn't actually said what's bothering me out loud but ever since she told me what the people are now talking about, I've been moving from one place to another inside my husband's chambers so I guess that's pretty easy for one to figure out.

"But what if, what if she's really the Emperor's sister?" I asked. Finally letting my fear out. Ever since Jandi told me of the trending News, I've been worried because if Hwa is indeed the Emperor's blood sister and we all know that they've slept together then ..they've committed an abomination and yes, this is now the reigning talk of the town, people want the truth ..they're asking who Hwa father is.

"Is Yi Chae-Yul Hwa father too? I asked myself but I just couldn't picture it, I know I didn't know of Sangyun being his son, I mean I did thought they were family ..real family but later I learned they are not and now this, him being the Emperor's brother? And Hwa might also be his sister.. God! This is so messed up, this is so very messed up. I wonder what the Emperor is thinking about this situation right now, but one thing is for sure, he will be disturbed by it. Who knows how he will handle this when he comes back.
