Chapter 72 - [2] The empress is missing

"Yes she is Jandi and I know this not because the Empress let me check her health ..she refused saying that she's alright and I should not listen to you for you worry over nothing. Anyways... her body, eyes and the fact that she was constantly spitting inside a dark small material said it all." Hyuna said then take a step away from me and begin to look at me ..eyes to eyes as if trying to figure something blurry out.

"Why are you panicking a lot Jandi? ..you know her being pregnant is a good thing right, a very good news." She said while still looking at me but no longer holding me. I nodded my head yes but that's not what I'm worried about. Doesn't she know, haven't she heard?.

"The Empress is missing, I'm not sure but ..I'm just scared, maybe I'm being paranoid but ..her face, she looked confused, scared and lot more ..I wanted to follow her but she didn't want me to. The worst part is that she left with only that rude female guard and ..Hwa, I saw Hwa and a woman who although is covering her face but the amount that I saw looked familiar ..like, like someone that I know _no, no ..it can be. God, could it be that's h.." I didn't even know what I was blabbing about but I know that I'm saying what my mind thinks ..I could have continued, I'd continued but Hyuna stopped me while looking at me as I'm stressed ..which I am but her telling me to go get some rest is a no, after all I was doing just that three hours ago and still ..here I am still thinking of the unknown face and Lady Nana's own.

"What are we going to do now, Hyuna?" I asked but she shrugged as if her next move should be obvious ..then she told me that she's going to go tell the Emperor that he's going to be a father.

"Jandi, you're just being paranoid ..lady Nana will still come back, she's an adult and it's only six hours ..well seven now, I guess but ..please do be alright Lady Nana ..you and your baby." I mused then start following Hyuna who's walking toward the Emperor's chamber. Inside ..my heart is beating so fast because I have seen the Emperor furious before and let's just say he's not a man to stand close to when he's in that mood and even though I know that Lady Nana changed him ..I still know that I shouldn't be in front of him when Hyuna break his wife's absent to him ..that's if she will do that.

"His Highness." Hyuna called as the Emperor was just about to enter inside his chamber. "What took him so long in getting here in the first place." I asked myself only because I can, then I answer myself ..that maybe it's because he was talking to his other guards and if this is true so does it mean that one of them has already told him ..no, no, I don't think so because if that's the case then he won't even be listening to Hyuna right now. He will be all over the place, questioning us all.

"Wait, what are they talking about?" I continue musing then stopped and slap myself mentally for I intended to just eavesdrop on their conversion but instead, here I am standing right behind Hyuna who is now just four inches away from the Emperor. ..oh god, manners Jandi _you so dea.. Ok, lucky that he isn't paying any attention to you." I continued musingly but then I snapped out of it and bow in greetings to the Emperor who just wave his hand dismissively at me and I know it was my queue to stand ..which I did.

After the thousands of greetings from Hyuna to the Emperor, Hyuna blurt it out ..ok, she didn't like blurt ..blurt it, she said it with all her teeth's out, she's happy ..we're happy. It's good news and I'm giving the Emperor two seconds for his own laughter or smile and I'm sure it's going to be laughter.

After Hyuna told the Emperor of his wife's pregnancy he looks expressionless ..well, that's how he looked even before Hyuna told him then boom ..as if Hyuna's information just sink into is brain, he let out laughter after laughter that's so loud and contagious ..then after a little while, he became calmed ..not like calmed, calmed but still calmed. he's no more laughing loudly but a full wild obviously joyful grin is all over his face.

He's happy ..so happy that it's scary _well consider that I'm already scared, his happiness makes me more scared for this situation now dwell in my mind clearly ...we're no longer looking for just one person but two. The Empress and the future heir ..oh god.
