Chapter 97 - Marry me

Ever since my five years old friend told me of her father's intention, I began to avoid Tae-Min while hoping that his feelings for me will disperse during this process. He shouldn't even have those feelings for me in the first place.

"When and how have I lead him on?" I muse out loud while walking around the peach trees.

I feel so bothered because I know how emotional Tae-Min can be. I still haven't figured out how am going to tell him that my baby father isn't dead but still living and the worst part is that he's the Emperor, his Emperor.

I shouldn't have lied, I shouldn't have made Jandi lie.

When he asked me why I ran away from home, I had told him the only story I could come up with. I told him that I got pregnant out of wedlock and when my parents found out, they didn't take it well, they kicked me out ..and the funny thing is that he said he already figured this will be the reason and then he began to wonder why Jandi hadn't told them this when they asked her.

"She's so protective of me and felt you all might judge me so she didn't tell." I had replied but now looking back, I think I should have told the truth and I also think they would have accepted me no matter what, but I didn't and now Tae-min have developed some feelings for me.

"Tae-Min! I yell frightened as I didn't hear when he came from my behind and grabbed me around my now huge waist.

"god, you're so beautiful." He whispered to my ears, still hugging me.

"Stop it." I said then begin to force myself to stop blushing but I couldn't, he's just so cute when he looks at me like he's doing right now.

"Eun-Ae told me you went to the market just a while ago, why are you back so early, didn't you find what you went looking for?" I asked and he grim sheepishly before he brought out two pairs of tiny stockings, now hugging me with one hand.

I find myself looking at him and not knowing what to do with him. How do you behave around someone who treats you so well.

"Tae-Min.." I began to say but he shush me up by pressing his lips to mine. It happened unexpectedly and it took my breath away, also I got lost in it.

I don't know if it has been long or just a while since he pressed his lips to mine but I do know that I just began to feel the impact of his kiss.

I told myself to resist but I found myself opening up and this made him pull me closer, now hugging me to his front while still kissing me tentatively.

"I love you Nana, I love you so much" he whispers to my ears after he pulled away for air, then he processed to kiss me again before moving to my neck where he whispered.

"Marry me."
