Chapter 99 - You reek of sex

The guards left but they took my poor Eun-Ae with them. Tae-Min said he had met them when they were still around and had asked them to hand his daughter over to him, but they said he has to come and get her in the palace, after he's being questioned by the Emperor.

Apparently, the Emperor gave them the order to get each person from each household and bring them to the palace for him to personally question.

I still haven't let myself think about Wuji so I won't bother trying to analyze his theory for this order.

I still wonders why Tae-Min didn't rush to the palace instantly to go get his daughter even when he told me that Tae-oh will get her when he comes back from Dultha and that he can't leave me and Jandi here alone.

Throughout today, I've been feeling Tae-Min gaze on me but when ever I turn to look at him ..he starts acting weird and I mean really wield because he wouldn't stop staring at my huge stomach and he isn't even hiding it.

Sometimes I think he's just obsessed with it and sometimes I find myself getting up to discuss this feeling with him but I don't want to see him hurt again. I just hope he has gotten rid of the attraction he had for me like he told me before we became friends.

Maybe I'm over thinking into things, maybe am the one confused and maybe he's just worried for me because I'll be due next week and pregnancies due date can't be hundred percent predicted.

Tae-oh came back but it was already late so we all advise him to go early in the morning.

This night out of many, is the first night that Jandi retired early. I stopped worrying long ago when ever I wake up in the middle of the night to find her own side empty, I figured she went to him but I just hope she's smart about this relationship and hasn't already given her body to him, after all they aren't married yet and who knows if he intends to.

I did tried talking Jandi out of her relationship with Tae-oh but she always made me appear selfish so I let it go and just hopes for the best.

Like the other nights, I woke up around four just to find her space empty. For the first time during all this misbehavior, I feel furious to the extent that I didn't let myself fall back asleep just so I could talk to her when she comes back.

It hasn't been long when she sneakily walked to the bed, I don't understand Jandi. If her mind is telling her that what she's doing is right, why then does she try so hard to hide her and Tae-oh affair.

"You reek of sex." I said making sure I sound just as annoyed as I am.

She jumped down in fright before calling my name. I sat down straight and begin to look at her, she looks so guilty which made me wonder why would she be feeling guilty if this is what she truly wants.

This is her life that we're talking about and although this people has been good to us, they're still strangers.

"Jandi" I called questioning but she wouldn't even look up at me.
