Chapter 92 - That deadly feeling

"empress consort?" She called but I didn't look up at her or say anything, she raised her hand to touch mine and I slapped it off.

"Hara. Pregnant." I kept muttering to myself while fighting not to breakdown in front of her.

I begin to walk to a different direction absentmindedly as I fight to control myself.

"Lady Nana." I hear Jandi calling as she ran up to me, she grabbed my hand and try pulling me back but I push her off and begin to walk out in a hurry, almost running. She grabbed my hand once again ..I halted and turned to look at her, her face reviews it ..she knows who the Hara is and she's also unhappy about everything.

"You know her too, you saw her! You've been seeing her but you didn't tell me." I said then wipe out a teardrop that I didn't know when it slipped.

"She was his mistress, I didn't know he, I didn't know he was still..' she stammered. 'I didn't know he's still seeing her, I thought her pregnancy belongs to someone else ..it didn't even cross my mind!" She blurted out, then gasped as she realized what she'd done and that Hara can still hear her.

"Lady Nana, I really didn't know!" She pleas but I couldn't listen anymore, I too thought the same. He told me he cut off any relationship he had with her six months before I came to the palace.

I found myself running outside the palace through the back, I climb on Joahaeyo who's mounted on it stable and used my leg to lead him out but before he could storm off like it normally doe's when someone does that to him, Jandi pull him on the tail which made him toss in circles before he halt.

"Let me go Jandi, please" I plead as I wipe my eyes of the tears that I didn't know was there in the first place and doing so, I realized that my tears won't stop, they just kept pouring down more and more.

I push Jandi by the side then usher Joahaeyo out by force.

We ran and ran for a long while and all those while I didn't know Jandi was by my side on a different horse, it was when I heard her sniffing by my side did I finally noticed.

"How could you Wuji, you told me you ended it six months before I even came to the palace and I've stayed in the palace for a year now. How could you be cheating on me all these while ..i, I.. I thought you love only me ..how could you betray me.

How could you lie to me!

How could you chea.. You i, i.. I gave you my heart, why? Why Wuji! Why would you do this to me!" I yelled, crying more profusely than ever before.

I remembered that I ran, I know that am crying and I know I saw her but what if, what if ..I don't know but, Wuji always tells me not to listen to gossip" I said to myself but then break down all over again when my mind tells me that this time I didn't listen to any gossip, I saw her myself and she told me, she told me but.. No Wuji won't, he wouldn't cheat on me ..you wouldn't Wuji.

"What are you doing Nana?' I asked myself absentmindedly. 'Oh god! I need to go back, Wuji.. Wuji can't betray me. He loves me, Jandi! Jandi." I called but she didn't hear me because she herself is crying, I guess because she's scared for me ..after all we have been running since morning and the sky is now dark.

When she finally heard me, she turned her horse and I too did the same but suddenly I begin to feel faint.

"Lady Nana." I hear Jandi calling by my side but am not so sure, everything seems blur.

I kept forcing myself to sit safe on Joahaeyo but I couldn't, it was as if all my strength has left me. I'd seen when Jandi jumped down her horse and begin to rush to me but she wasn't quick enough because I fell, I fell and it hurts. It hurts so much.

I begin to hear Jandi screaming my name panicky but I couldn't do anything, my mouth wouldn't open and my eyes are barely opened.

Before everything went completely blank, I saw Jandi running into the woods and screaming for help.
