Chapter 73 - [3] The empress is missing

"I found out this morning His Highness." Hyuna said to him excitedly and he told her well done then asked her if his wife is in her ward or inside his chamber. Right after his question ..not waiting for Hyuna response, he quickly walked inside his chamber and as quickly as he entered ..he came out and now he's walking out but I know he's going to Hyuna's ward ..he's still excited though and I'm sure this is the only reason why he didn't notice the panic state all the people who are now walking beside him are in, me included.

Hyuna tried telling him that his wife isn't in her ward and he'd show that he's listening to her but as he continued to walk hurriedly toward Hyuna's ward ..we all knew he isn't paying any attention to us. His wife have occupied his mind, his wife is the only thing that's on his mind right now.

This is not good.

"This is so not good." I said immediately the Emperor entered Hyuna's ward and at the same time, I closed my eyes because I don't want to see how his joyful face turns into confusion then afterwards ..anger.

I find myself peeping at the Emperor when I still didn't hear any angry voice and right after that, I regretted it for it was immediately I closed my eyes, that is when I opened it back up and also this is when the Emperor begin to notice our body language.

"Where's the Empress?" He asked not looking at one person in particular.

Silence

That's how this space is ..it's as quiet as cemetery until he grabbed Min Yonghwan. I know he now knows that something is wrong because his face is that of our Emperor of last two years but more determined, more furious and it has this 'it better not be what I am thinking look'. We exposed it already.

"Where's the Empress!?" He asked orotundity and that's all it takes for Yonghwan to spill out everything.

Him narrating what happened sound so stupid now because like the Emperor asked .."How could you let an unknown female to escort your Empress and a newbie for that matter, what was she even doing being her guard! Who go her inside my palace?"

"Yonghwan! He yelled when Yonghwan didn't say anything and right after that, he hit him and push him aside ..went to him again, yelled to his face and said" Gather all the guards that were available and those who weren't but were supposed to be when this was happening ..including those who left their shift for the female, take them to Raizo hol."

I understand why Yonghwan couldn't say anything when the Emperor asked and it's because he knew nothing aside from what he already told the Emperor. He's still confused about this whole situation. That Bae girl, she played us and I'm sure she has a hand in this ..that's if truly the Empress is missing and my instance is telling me that she's indeed missing for if she isn't then she'd be back by now.

She can't purposely leave us worried like this, she will know that her husband will panic if he didn't see her in when he returns ..oh god, now Min Yonghwan and the other guards are going to get punished by that monster ..Raizo.

"Breath Jandi." I told myself when the Emperor called Yabo ..his voice, it sounds murderous. He must be thinking that his wife is abducted by one of his enemies or worst killed.

"Take the maid to the nolan bang, make her say all she knowns and only stop when she let out a useful information." The Emperor said. When I realized his last order of torture is meant for me is when Yabo grabbed me by one hand ...so tightly and he begin to pull me out.
