⚖️ CHAPTER XVII ⚖️

Zoei's POV

"Welcome to William's Group of Companies Atty. Tan. I'm Lily, Mr. William's secretary. It's a pleasure to finally meet the top lawyer in the country" an employee greeted me with a smile on her face.

"Thank you." Lily looks like a sweet lady. Napakahinhin niyang gumalaw and she's really beautiful.

"I'll escort you to your office which the president instructed me to do" she said while we walk as she guided me.

Maraming empleyado ang bumati at ngumiti sa amin habang naglalakad. They look so shocked seeing me here. Me working in a company like this is very unexpected to be honest.

I'm amazed of the structure of this company. You can see that it's so successful by having a huge manpower and a gigantic building. Managing this would be very stressful anf exhausting.

Napanganga naman ako nang makarating kami sa office na sinasabi ni Lily. 

"It's my own?" I asked with a confused face.

Lily nodded with a smile. "Yes attorney. Pinagawa ito ni president when he started persuading you to accept his deal. Buti nga po umabot."

That man is insane!

Talagang pinagawan pa niya ako ng office ehh okay lang naman sa akin na sa office ng legal department magstay with the team. Anong trip non?

The interior of this office is really nice. It's warm and cozy. It's a touch of mint green and white which are my favorite colors.

Nagningning ang mga mata ko nang makita ko ang sofa na nasa gilid. Hindi ko alam kung bakit adik na adik ako sa mga sofa. Lahat ata ng sulok ng bahay namin pinalagyan ko ng sofa. It just feels comfortable whenever I see one. Medyo weird nga lang.

"Attorney maiwan ko na po kayo rito. May mga gagawin pa po kasi akong reports. Pag may kailangan po kayo o kung may gusto kayong ipabago rito sa office mo ay tawagan mo lang po ako. Nakasulat na po ang mga importanteng contact numbers beside your telephone."

"Sige Lily salamat. Nakaabala pa ako sa trabaho mo. I can manage naman na. At wala akong ipapabago rito. Hahaha. Medyo naoverwhelm lang talaga ako. Baliw kasi yang boss mo" I said to her.

Tumawa lang siya at tuluyang umalis.

Umupo ako sa swivel chair and bring my files out. Of course I need to do my work in his company. Pag nakita ko talaga si Tatcher , magpapalipat ako sa office ng Legal Department. Masyado namang malaki to para sa akin.

I'm busy reviewing the legal papers tungkol sa bagong hotel na ipapatayo sa Davao when someone entered my office. I looked up and meet the eyes of a handsome devil.

Naglakad siya palapit sa akin. He looks so frickin good with his suit. His blue eyes are really captivating. Pag nakikita ko ang mga maya niya ay hindi ko maalis ang tingin ko rito. Bakit ba sobrang biniyayaan ng looks ang isang to? Ang unfair.

"It's already 2 pm and you haven't had your lunch. I did not hire you here for you to starve yourself, love" he said with those piercing those blue eyes directly looking at me.

Tinignan ko naman ang suot kong wristwatch and to my surprise, alas dos na pala. Ganito talaga kapag masyado akong focused- hindi ko namamalayan ang oras.

"Stop calling me 'love' sir. Zoei ang pangalan ko. Zoei. Tsaka baka mamaya may makarinig pang empleyado mo, baka kung ano pa ang isipin."

"I don't care of what they will think. At least, they will be aware that you are mine" he answered me while resting his arms on the table.

Namula naman ako sa sinabi niya. Nilalandi na naman ako ng damuhong ito. "You don't own me sir" I said with much conviction. Maka 'you're mine' naman to, akala mo bagay ako.

Hinapit niya ang bewang ko and moved his face close to mine. Shemay,  why do I love his scent everytime he is close to me?

"Really?" he scanned my face and ended up staring at my lips.

I gulped. "Y-yes"

He moved closer kaya pinikit ko na lang ang mga mata ko.

"Let's see about that attorney" he whispered on my ears. When I finally opened my eyes, I saw him smirking.

"Disappointed?" he chuckled.

Lalo naman akong namula sa sinabi niya. Did I just expected him to give me a kiss? Damn. Nababaliw na ata ako.

Lumayo na siya sa akin at ipinatong sa table ko ang dala niya. "I brought you food. Eat all of those. Ayaw kong nagpapalipas ka ng gutom especially under my watch."

Tinignan ko ang lahat ng pagkain na dala niya. Seryoso ba siya? Panglimang tao ata ang dala niya. "I can't eat all of those. Also, why are you here sir? Aren't you busy? "

He suddenly looked annoyed. "Can you please stop calling me 'sir'? I told you Tatcher would be fine. I already finished my schedule for today to see you."

"But you're my boss. It's a sign of respect" I answered him.

"Respect my ass. I don't care about honorifics when it comes to you. Call me Tatcher. It's an order from your boss."

Malala rin pala to. Inaabuso ang authority. Susunod na lang ako dahil wala na akong magagawa. Baka bawasan pa sahod ko, mahirap na.

Nagsimula na akong kumain. These food are amazing. Malamang galing to sa isa sa mga restaurant niya.

Subo lang ako ng subo- wala na akong pakialam kung pinapanood ako ni Tatcher dahil gutom na gutom na ako. Libreng lunch na 'to kaya hindi ko na papalampasin pa.

Habang busy ako sa pagkain, bigla na lang lumapit sa akin si Tatcher and reached his hand on my face. I felt his thumb touched the side of my lips- tila ba may pinunasan.

Bumilis naman ang tibok ng puso ko sa ginawa niya. He is too close again. I don't know why my body reacts like this whenever he is close.

Sa kakakain ko, I did not even realize na may sauce na pala sa mukha ko.

But what surprised me ay ang sumunod niyang ginawa. He freakin licked his thumb with the sauce on while looking at me!

Is he seducing me? Alam niya bang level 100000000000 ung sex appeal niya? Mapang-akit ang hudas.

Lord, gabayan Niyo po ako. Napakalakas ng epekto ng isang to sa akin. Bigyan niyo po ako ng sapat na self-control. Bwisit kasi tong Tatcher na to.

"The sause tastes delicious. But it would be nice if I can taste it with your lips."

Aba, malandi!
