CHAPTER XIX

(TEN YEARS AGO )

Third Person's POV

"Marcus my man, pakopya naman ako ng assignment sa Economics. I can't fuckin understand anything." saad ni Trevor dela Cruz habang papalapit sa table ng mga kaibigan. They are in the school's library right now.

Marcus stared at his friend blankly. "The hell dela Cruz? Don't expect me to let you copy all of our assignments just because you can't understand a thing. How can you understand it if you are sleeping during class hours? You're such a disappointment to your clan."

Tinaas naman ni Trevor ang dalawang kamay niya na tila ba sumusuko . "Okay, I get it Mr. Perfect. I promise you this is the last time."

"Tsk." Wala ng nagawa si Marcus kundi ibigay ang flashdrive sa kaibigan. "You always say that it will be the last time. Nothing changes. I give up on you dela Cruz."

Tumawa naman ang iba nilang kaibigan. "Tang*na ka talaga dela Cruz. Delikado future ng kompanya niyo sa'yo. Buti na lang at nandiyan lagi si Marcus. Matagal ka ng bagsak kung wala siya" saad ni Toby Steven Torres- isa sa mga kaibigan nila.

Marcus just continued to read his book not minding his friends' chatters. Library to pero medyo madadaldal talaga ang mga magkakaibigan. His friends are talking about girls again- which he does not have any interest with.

Kumunot ang noo ni Marcus nang biglang tumahimik ang mga katabi. Ibinaba niya ang librong binabasa niya at nakita niyang nakatingin ang mga kaibigan sa isang direksyon. He roamed his eyes and all of the people in the library are also looking at the same direction.

'Did an angel passed by?' he thought.

When he finally looked at the direction where everyone is looking at, he was stunned. His jaw dropped to what he is seeing.

'An angel really. Fuck. Who is this woman?'

This is his first time seeing a girl as gorgeous as her. Her innocent face lights up the whole place. Her skin is so white, her lips is as pinkish as ever and her small nose compliments her whole face. Her intimadating aura suits her. She is elegantly walking with a pile of books in her hands.

His gaze follows the girl. She sat on the table beside them.

Marcus' mind is in shambles. This is his first time seeing her yet his heart beats so fast. He can't even stop looking at her.

'What the heck is this feeling?'

"Geez Marcus. Tunaw na tunaw na siya sa tingin mo. Indeed, her beauty is top notch and look at that body! Any man would fall for her. Kakapanalo lang niyan sa isang Accounting competition. Hindi na ako nagulat that she even  caught your attention"  saad ni Toby.

Binalingan ni Marcus ng tingin ang kaibigan. "What's her name?"

"Zoei. Zoei Seraphine Tan."

Zoei's POV

Padabog kong ibinaba ang mga gamit ko nang makarating ako sa office. Bwisit na Steph 'yon. Kung di lang talaga ako nakapagpigil, masusuntok ko ang babaeng 'yon. Itong si Tatcher naman, kinampihan pa ung ahas.

Lalo tuloy akong nainis.

I admit na maganda si Steph- her beautiful face stands out. But one's physical beauty is nothing if his/her attitude is trash. Kahit maganda at mayaman siya, wala siyang karapatang apihin ang isang tao nang ganon.
