⚖️CHAPTER XXIII⚖️

Zoei's POV

"Maam, delivery po" saad ng isang delivery man na nasa pinto ng office ko.

Pang-ilang beses na ba to ngayong araw? Jusme. Balak atang gawin ni Tatcher na flower shop tong office ko. Nung una, roses tapos may dumating na naman na tulips, after that are daisies. Ngayon naman sunflower. Aba, ano na lang gagawin ko sa mga ito?

I smiled at him. "Pakilagay na lang diyan sa gilid kuya. Salamat."

Matapos makaalis nung delivery man ay kinuha ko agad ang note na nakaattach sa mga bulaklak. It's a handwritten note- to which I find is a sweet thing. Mas malakas kasi ang impact ng ganito sa akin than those which are sent through digital channels- just my preference tho.

Attorney, if loving you is a crime then I am willing to accept a life sentence.

Itinigil ko ang pagbabasa dahil hindi ko mapigilan ang tawa ko. Medyo corny kasi. But nevertheless, it's a sweet line and his penmanship is so neat. 

I don't know why I wrote that line but Zamora said that you would like it. So don't laugh at me. I swear I'll kill him if this does not work.

Sorry Tatcher, natawa na ako. Dibale, pogi ka naman.

I just want to say that my feelings for you are geniune. I know that you have doubts but I am willing to prove myself to you. I won't stop doing this everyday and you might get tired of it but I just want to remind you every single day how lucky I am to meet you. I will do everything for you to be mine.  Hope these flowers will make your day start in a cheerful manner gorgeous.

The butterflies in my stomach started to move again. Sumilay ang ngiti sa nga labi ko dahil sa nabasa. I don't know how but Tatcher has this way of making my heart flutter. I actually receive letters from him everyday since he decided to court me. Lagi rin kaming sabay kumain ng lunch. But this week is an exemption, hindi kami nagkikita  dahil busy siya.

Being with him, I actually got to know him a lot more. He is a man of few words yet he is a straightforward and a kind person which makes me fall for him more. He's sometimes grumpy but I can manage.

Nilagay ko ang note na isinulat niya sa isang box na nasa drawer ng table ko. It's for safekeeping.

Pinagpatuloy ko ang ginagawa kong report kanina- it's the monthly report of the Legal Dept. After I finished working on that one ay nireview ko naman ang mga documents that are presented by the other lawyers.

While working ay biglang bumukas ang pinto ng office. Wag mong sabihing flowers na naman to at baka tuluyan na akong magbenta dito sa kompanya.

Itinaas ko ang aking tingin and my heart immediately reacted when I saw Tatcher came in. I miss this guy- isang linggo ko rin siyang hindi nakita.

Tinitigan ko siya habang lumalapit siya sa akin. God, why is he so handsome? His ravishing looks can take anyone's breath and attention. Unang kita mo sa kanya, aakalain mong modelo o artista ito. And his tux perfectly fits that just define his muscular arms. Parang ang sarap-  nako Zoei, tumigil ka.

"Balak mo ba talagang gawing flower shop tong office ko? Isang bulaklak lang okay na. Aba't, lahat ata ng klase gusto mong ibigay sa akin" kunot noo kong sabi sa kanya habang tuluyan siyang umupo sa harapan ko.

"Not even a 'good day', attorney? Is that your way of saying 'I miss you''? Then, I miss you too." he chuckled.

"I just don't know what flowers you would like kaya I ordered all of them" he explained.
