Chapter 1

Storybrooke - A few years ago

At Regina's house, Regina, Henry and Vivian walked out of the house.

"Henry, are you sure about this? I was hoping after high school, you'd think about college," Regina said.

"I know, but college isn't going anywhere. I just... I need to do this. Operation Cobra is over, we did it. We have our happy endings," Henry said.

"So, then why leave?" Regina asked.

"Mom, come on," Vivian said.

"Because I'm still the Author. I've been writing everyone else's stories. I need to figure out what my story is and it's not here," Henry said.

"Then where do you think it is?" Regina asked.

"I don't know but when I finished the book, I returned it to the Sorcerer's mansion and you know what I found? Hundreds of other books, with the stories I thought I knew, but told differently. Like, you know how there's a French Snow White and an Italian one... There are endless possibilities," Henry said.

"And what does that have to do with you?" Vivian asked.

"I'm not in any of them. I'm the only me, it's time I figure out where I belong," Henry said.

Vivian looked at him, "Okay then," Vivian said with a smile and the two hugged, "I'll miss you," She whispered.

"I'll miss you too, but I have to do this... Just like you needed the Nautilus... Then didn't," Henry said and they pulled away.

"Oh, so I can't object, I understand," Vivian said jokingly.

Regina chuckled at her children before she hugged Henry goodbye. Henry put his helmet on and got on his bike, he tosses his last magic bean to make a portal.

"Henry, if that's the only bean you have, getting back here is..." Regina said.

"Will be an adventure, that's where I'm going. I love you, both," Henry said to them.

"I love you, kid," Vivian said.

"I love you, too," Regina said and slipped her hand into her daughters' as they watch Henry drive off into the portal on his adventure.

"He'll be okay right?" Vivian asked.

"I hope so," Regina gasped and made Vivian turned to her, "I forgot to tell you, hmm Rumpel wanted to see you," Regina said.

Vivian blinked, "When?" Vivian asked.

"Like an hour ago at your shop," Regina said.

"Mom!" Vivian said and ran to her shop.

"Sorry!" Regina called out as she watched her daughter leave home.

Present Day - Hyperion Heights

A woman with dark brown hair parked up outside a bar and turned her engine off. She leaned over to the back and pulled her handbag over the passenger seat, bringing out her phone and saw the time.

"Dammit," She said and got out of her car, locking it before running into the bar.

"You're late Adaline," Her boss said, as she faced a new customer.

"I'm sorry, Roni," Adaline said and walked behind the bar, putting her bag in her usual spot and turned to the new customer, "Hi, what can I get you?" She smiled.
