Chapter 37

In the snowglobe, Henry, Killian and Rumpel walked into a cabin and found Ella and Lucy inside.

"Daddy!" Lucy said.

"Henry!" Ella said and the family embrace each other.

"I knew you'd save us!" Lucy said.

"Yeah, uh, let's, let's get you warm, first, okay? Let's see if we can find some blankets or something," Henry said and the three went to find something to warm them all up.

Killian looked out the window then he looked at Rumpel who was also suffering from the cold, "I don't understand. Why are you cold? The Dark One doesn't get cold," Killian said.

"I'm afraid Rumpelstiltskin used the author's pen for more than he let on. He's stripped me of my immortality and of my powers. So, I can neither escape nor stop him," Rumpel said.

"From doing what?" Killian asked.

"Well, that's the question. You see, he is me but with the darkness unchecked by the love of Belle or Vivian. He will use this new power to hurt anyone he can and drag us all into the darkness where he wallows," Rumpel said.

"Seems like wallowing is something you have in common," Killian said.

"Excuse me?" Rumpel said.

"Look, I'm sorry that you can't be with Belle, but you're not the only one who's suffered a loss. I may never fix my heart, I may never get to be a family with my daughter, son and fiance because for whatever reason the other you has decided that Vivian stays out of the snowglobe," Killian said.

Later, guards took Regina to Vivian and Wish Henry at the palace, in the hall where Snow and Charming got married. Vivian was sat on the steps beside Wish Henry

"Let's play a little game, Your Majesty. Tell me do you remember this place, what you did here?" Wish Henry asked.

"This is where I first declared I would cast the Dark Curse," Regina said.

"At my grandparents' wedding, no less. Pretty bold," Wish Henry said.

"Henry, that wasn't me. I'm now who you think I am and I am not the Evil Queen anymore, I've changed," Regina said.

"So, that wasn't you who crushed their hearts?" Wish Henry scoffed, "That's what I thought. tell me, was revenge everything you'd hoped it would be?" Wish Henry asked.

"I didn't mean to kill your grandparents, it was a mistake," Regina said and she stepped towards him but the guards drew their swords.

"Don't mind them. They're just here to make sure you don't make any more 'mistakes'. Not that you'd get that far wearing that cuff on your wrist," Regina looked down and saw the anti-magic cuff on her wrist, "No magic, remember," Wish Henry looked at Vivian, "For either of you," He said.

Regina sighed, "Look, I want to help you, Rumpelstiltskin is using you," Regina said.

"Why should I ever trust you?" Wish Henry said.
