Chapter 18

Rogers was walking around the neighbourhood when Tilly approached him.

"Things disappear if you don't look at them quick enough," Tilly said.

"Tilly, I don't have time for riddles, there's a little girl in the hospital," Rogers said, referring to Lucy who collapsed in her mothers' arms and hasn't woken up.

"This is bigger than a little girl. Do you remember that symbol from Eloise's notebook?" Tilly said.

"And the dead man's tattoo and the blood written symbol. I'd hardly forget it," Rogers said.

"Then look before it disappears," Tilly said and showed him the symbol from Eloise's notebook painted on the bridge pillar.

Flashback - Another Realm

Vivian and Mr Smee were walking through a forest of another realm looking for the tower.

"You might have to sing..." Smee said and Vivian looked at him confused, "I remembered the witch's magic, the cap'n had to sing when a statue tried attacking us."

"That's to get the Golden Flower, Mr Smee... Not the tower," Vivian said.

"Oh, oh yeah you're right," Mr Smee said.

Vivian looked up and saw a tower, Mr Smee stood with her, "Come on," Vivian said and they both started to climb up into the tower.

Mr Smee got in after her and he looked around, "Vivian, the crib," Mr Smee said.

Vivian looked over and rushed over to see her baby, she picked her baby up, "Hello, sweetie," She looked at the window and noticed the forcefield, "He...He can't leave," Vivian said with tears in her eyes, "I can't leave he... Smee... Tell Killian..."

"I'm not telling him anything," Mr Smee walked over and took the baby, "I'll stay with your child, I'll protect him and look after him as if he were my own," Mr Smee said.

"But..." Vivian said.

"You have the battle to fight Vivian, you need the Cap'n and he needs you, your brother needs you, your mother does, your niece does, your cousin does, your aunt does," Mr Smee said.

"I get it..." Vivian said and pulled out her compact mirror, broke it in half and enchanted them, "They're enchanted to each other, we'll be connected as long as we're in a land with magic," Vivian said and handed him half.

Mr Smee took it, "Okay," He nodded.

Vivian took her child and looked at them, "My sweetheart..." Vivian sat on a chair and rocked her child gently. Vivian smiled at her baby, "My baby boy," She kissed his head and a tear fell down her cheek, "Daniel Jones," She said and looked at him, "After my father," Vivian said.
