Chapter 17

Flashback

Henry showed his daughter, Lucy, to Vivian, Killian, Jack and Tiana.

"I'd like you all to meet Lucy," Henry said.

"That is amazing. Henry Mills is a father," Jack said.

"Congratulations, she looks strong," Tiana said.

"She's adorable," Vivian said.

"Uh, where's mom? She should be here by now," Henry said.

Drizella arrived, "Oh, Regina's fine. She's just a little detained," Drizella said.

"Stay away from my daughter," Henry said.

"Such a worried papa. No need to be. I'm only here to deliver a message. Well, more accurately, a prophecy. A curse is coming," Drizella said.

"Wonderful," Vivian commented.

"On your darling child's 8th birthday, all your lives as you know them will end," Drizella said.

Killian advanced on her, "Perhaps you misread the prophecy, love because you missed the part where we defeat you," Killian pulled out his sword.

Drizella was about to use her magic on Killian when Vivian used her magic on her, making Drizella's arms feel heavier, "Drizella, I wouldn't if I were you. Look down," Vivian said as Killian grinned when Vivian stood by his side.

Drizella looked down to see that she is standing on a rune etched into the ground, she was turning to stone, "This is blood magic, how is this possible?" Drizella said.

"How else do you think?" Vivian smirked at her.

Lady Tremaine walked over, "With a spatter of my blood, of course. I simply can't have you casting the curse, dear," Lady Tremaine said.

"This changes nothing. In eight years, I'll be back and you'll learn what true suffering is," Drizella said then the run turned her into stone.

"You have my thanks, Tremaine," Vivian said and she glanced at her.

"And you have mine," Lady Tremaine said.

Eight Years Later...

On Lucy's birthday, everyone gathered at Queen Tiana's manor to celebrate the little girl's birthday.

"Thank you all for coming to celebrate the birthday of a special little girl and to remember how lucky we are to live in a time of peace and prosperity," Tiana said.

"Thank you, Aunt Tiana... I mean, Queen Tiana," Lucy said as she playfully bowed.

"Oh," Tiana said as she chuckled.

"Where's Aunt Vivian?" Lucy looked up at Regina.

"We don't know sweetheart, but she wouldn't want your birthday to be put on hold for her, I'll look for her and bring her back to you, I promise," Regina said and looked at Killian and Henry who were worried, "I'll find her," She said quietly.
