"But we're still young, we don't know where we're going, but we know where we belong."
-Sweet Creature, Harry Styles. 2017

Harry and I drove back to his hotel in silence. I didn't have the energy to speak and it seemed like he didn't know what to say. He held had his arm around me and rubbed my back the whole ride as I leaned on the arm rest in the middle of us. The trees flew past me in a blur, my eyes starting feeling heavy and before I knew it, I was completely asleep. I didn't dream, and if I did, I didn't remember, but at this point I didn't want to remember anything. Before I knew it my eyes suddenly opened and I saw a tall building standing right in front of me.
"We're here," Harry quietly said. I sat up and looked around a bit confused. Harry then put his hand on my leg and rubbed it with his thumb.
"Come on darling, let's get you inside. You need some sleep," he told me. I nodded and then opened my door and stumbled out. The wind instantly hit me and put me into shock, Harry must've noticed because he quickly jogged over and put his jacket around me. As he took off his jacket, it seemed like he wasn't phased. The cold wind blew his hair every direction, while his jaw was clenched, as he focused on clothing me with his jacket.
"You're freezing," he stated. I shook my head a bit and ignored the jacket being placed on me. I just wanted to close my eyes and never open them again. I stood there still a bit in shock from the coldness and numbness from tonight. As Harry put his jacket on me, he reached down for my hand and tried to pull me along with him. I followed him a few feet but he could tell I was slightly resisting. He stopped in his tracks and turned his whole body towards me. His eyes looked into mine and I instantly could tell what he was thinking. He was sorry, worried, felt bad for me, pity, everything I didn't want him feeling for me. The complete opposite in fact.
"Lily," he whispered. I wanted to but I couldn't move. I looked into his eyes until I couldn't take it anymore, I had to look away. His eyes were beautiful, pure, genuine, while mine were the complete opposite. I came from horrible people, what makes me any different than my parents? We made our fortune from lying and hurting people just for our own benefit, what good were we? What good was I?
"Lily, look at me," Harry said. I wanted to but I didn't have the strength to do so. I didn't have the strength to do anything. Harry had put his finger under my chin and slowly lifted my head up till my eyes met his. He licked his lips and let out a small breath.
"Lily, I'm sorry," he said for seemed like the millionth time this night. I hated hearing the pity in his voice, I just wanted him to forget about it so I could deal with it on my own. My family never communicated, it wasn't our strong suit. Harry had explained to me before how close he was with his mother and sister, it was just so strange to hear because I could never relate.
"Harry, I told you. Please just forget about it," I insisted. He looked at me with utterly hurt eyes. Now I felt bad, all he wanted to do was help and all I was doing was pushing him away. I knew what I was doing, but I just couldn't get myself to stop. Harry didn't say another word, he just gripped my hand tighter and walked a bit more aggressive and with more purpose in every step. I knew he didn't want to hurt me but after being manhandled every day of my life, I couldn't deal with his grip and snatched my hand back to my body. He instantly stopped and turned around to look at me, but what he didn't expect was me to walk right by him and towards the hotel. As I walked by him, I heard him let out a defeated sigh as the sound of his steps started up again after I passed him.
