My God, this reminds me of when we were young.

After Jared got out the shower, I led him to bed, and told him that I was leaving with Harry. He nodded his head, understanding and he instantly fell back asleep without another word. I had saved his food and left a note on it. And before I knew it, Harry and I were off to go grocery shopping. I wasn't ready for this.
I didn't realize that we truly had a conversation that probably healed us in a way that I didn't even realize we needed to be healed.
Although I was grateful. Harry was a person I didn't want to lose and though we may have lost each other for a little while, we only really needed time to realize we still had each other.
"So do you ever think you'll come visit Sadie, or are we still on the 'you died in a car crash,' type of thing?" Harry asked. I laughed at his remark and shook my head while I looked out the window straight ahead.
I could see from the corner of my eye, he was looking back and forth between me and the road as he continued driving along.
"I guess I can.. it's been awhile. How is she?" I asked.
"Fat," he simply said. I laughed again, completely caught off guard. I looked over at him and seen him smiling at the fact that he made me laugh. He was the absolute most random person I knew.
"Is she now?" I said with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh yeah. She got all depressed after we left and ate nothing but ice cream and pizza bagels," he nodded.
"Harry, as her father, you should have kept that from happening," I said.
"And as we know, she was three years old, meaning she was twenty one, and barely coming out of her rebellious teenage phase!" Harry argued back.
I laughed at his argument and shook my head. Harry has always been one for the drama.
After a few more minutes, we pulled up to Ricky's. It's been quite a minute since we've been here in general, but also just together.
Once we got out the car, I was immediately hit by the cold wind. It was definitely a cold October on the island. I wasn't complaining though. The cold was always nice.
Harry and I rushed around the corner and inside as soon as it began sprinkling. Once we got inside, we looked at each other and laughed a bit, shaking off the rain that hit us before we got inside.
"Well, it's going to be a fun walk back to the car," Harry said.
"For sure," I agreed.
Harry grabbed a cart and we were then off to shopping. We went through the first couple of isles of the store, grabbing fruit and vegetables. Harry was over a lot more often because of Lucy, so it seemed like he knew what we were missing.
Suddenly, I felt a cold sensation on the back of my neck. I loudly gasped and turned to see Harry pulling away a hedge of lettuce, laughing.
"Not funny!" I shouted rubbing the back of my neck, trying to warm myself up.
"Come on, you can't lie. That was kind of funny," Harry said still laughing.
"Not as funny as this," I then quickly grabbed the hat he was wearing, now revealing his messed up hair. If there was anything Harry hated, it was his hair being a mess in a public place.
"Alright, alright. I get it. Now give me back my hat," he said reaching out trying to grab his hat. I held my arm farther away so he couldn't reach it.
