'Cause all of the small things that you do
are what remind me why I fell for you.

And when we're apart and I'm missing you,
I close my eyes and all I see is you,
and the small things you do.'

I've never seen Jared so drunk before. Honestly, I've never seen him drunk in general. We always stayed in doors and whenever we had drinks, I tended to black out before him, unfortunately and embarrassingly.

There was quite a few of us. We had invited a few people from Lucy's class, a few other people that she worked with at the shop with Harry, and everyone who worked at the café.

It seemed like everyone was enjoying themselves. Lucy had gotten tipsy, but she seemed to be sober enough to play the games we had set up for her. She was playing quite well, winning a lot of the games.

The night was beyond wild. Lucy was incredibly surprised and loved it.

Jared had came up to me while laughing uncontrollably at something our friend Chris had brought up.

"Babe, you've got to hear the story Chris just told me," Jared said, hanging onto Chris' shoulder. Still busting up. I couldn't help but smile at him. He was a happy drunk. It was adorable.

"Dude! It was one time! I haven't done it since!" Chris argued.

"Oh please, how do you manage to eat bone shaped dog treats on accident!"

I couldn't help but laugh at the two and also notice that Jared was starting to slur his words.

"Hey, Jared, are you okay?" I asked as my arms went out to make sure he didn't fall forward. He stood straight up, still with one arm around Chris' shoulder.

"I've never been better!" He said with his accent growing thicker and thicker with every word.

"And you never looked so beautiful," he said now a bit more calm as he leaned down and placed a kiss on my lips. As soon as he kissed me, I could instantly smell the alcohol coming from his mouth. Once we pulled apart, he then began chugging the rest of the beer that he had in his hand.

"Alright buddy, I think you're done," Chris said taking the bottle.

"Oh come on, the night is young!" He said now raising both arms. I shook my head a bit, knowing it was nearly midnight.

The party started at six and although it's going great, I didn't realize it'd last this long.

"Honey, why don't you lay down for a bit?" I asked.

"That's!... a wonderful idea sweetheart, where should I lay?" He said now slurring his words even more as he began to lose his balance.

"Come on," I said going to Jared's side and holding him up as Chris held his other side.

I then began to lead Chris and Jared towards my room. Once we reached my room, we laid Jared down on my bed, and it was like he instantly started snoring.

Chris and I stood up and looked at him and then at each other.

"Didn't realize Jared was a party animal," he said standing up and catching his breath. I chuckled a bit at his comment and nodded my head.

"Yeah, me neither," I said letting out a breath.

"Thanks for bringing him in here. I'll take it from here," I told him.
