I quickly busted through the door, dropping everything I had in my hands. Including, the food that we had brought home from dinner. The dog began to bark like crazy while Harry let out giant sigh as he closed the door slowly and sat down the keys on the table next to the front door.
"You are unbelievable," I said now completely angry.
"I didn't do anything Lily," Harry said for what felt like the millionth time that night. He was obviously annoyed but he was normally always calm during arguments, which I didn't know if it helped me calm down or make me more angry.
"Didn't do anything? Please! She was practically in your lap, Harry!" I yelled, now causing Sadie to continuing barking.
"You act like I was making her do those things Lily, I'm not in control of her actions," he defended.
"Okay, you're right but you're in charge of your own. And you let her do all that right in front of me without saying a word!"
"Lily, can we just drop this? She's just a regular customer and I didn't want to be rude and send her on her way while she had just broken up with her boyfriend!"
"So, first of all. How bad of a driver do you have to be to be a regular at a car shop?" I argued. "Second, is this girl's feelings more important that our anniversary dinner?"
"You're sounding selfish right now, you know that right?" Harry said now sitting down, while looking up at me.
I felt my face get even more red than it probably already was. I let out another giant sigh and raised my hands in complete defeat.
"My fucking goodness," I said now turning my back towards Harry and walking into the kitchen. Sadie followed me while wagging her tail as I began to slam things around in the kitchen. I was livid. I couldn't believe the things he was saying to me at that moment. It felt like I didn't know him at all right now.
Harry then popped around the corner and leaned against the wall while I continued to throw dishes around.
"Can you stop overreacting? It was only thirty minutes. As soon as the food came, she left to her own table." Harry said while he remained calm.
As I was putting away dishes from the dish washer, as soon as he said I was overreacting, that's when I snapped. I dropped the glass bowl in my hand and it quickly shattered all over the floor.
"Are you fucking kidding me?!" I shouted.
"Overreacting! Harry, you are the love of my life. I'm sorry if I'm just protecting what's mine! Which I shouldn't even have to in the first place!" Harry crossed his arms and rolled his eyes and looked away.
"Why are you making such a big deal of this?" He asked. It seemed like every time he said something, it just made it worse.
"I'm done with this conversation," I said now storming out of the room and to the bedroom. Harry followed closely behind me while he tried to continue the argument.
