'I gotta get out of this ghost town.

I gotta move on.

I gotta get going with my life.'

Today was a bit of busy day. I knew there was a fishing event going on downtown and everyone decided to pick up coffee before it. I decided I was gonna go into work today just to help out and also to get in some extra hours. I wasn't struggling with work or money but I didn't want to come back from London struggling and having to catch up on work. I decided I was going to London to meet Jared's family. I know it was early but honestly, I love him. Why not? Besides, I've been on this island way too long.

As I was getting off of work, I felt like my whole day was done for and it was only three in the afternoon. As I got into my car, I quickly dropped all the paperwork I had to deal with over the weekend and grabbed my phone to see what I missed. It's been awhile since I didn't have time to check my phone at work. I felt very out of the loop today.

As I locked my doors and unlocked my phone, I noticed a bunch of messages from many people. Interviews being scheduled through Riley, people requesting time off, Lucy, and my favorite, Jared. I quickly scrolled down and opened up Jared's messages.

10:34am: Good morning my love.

10:45am: I'm assuming you're at work already. :/

10:45am: Have a great day, I'll see you later on today.

11:11am: Making a wish. It's you. Can't wait to see you today.

1:06pm: No lunch break for you today?

2:08: Don't work too hard. Remember to rest up and take care of yourself.

3:04pm: I'll be at your house at 4. Love you sweet heart.

I smiled and giggled at each and every message like a child. I loved him. Beyond measure, this man had my whole heart.

'Sorry for the late response. Busy day. Heading home now. I'll see you soon! Love you more than you know,'  I sent finally at 3:15 today. I did feel bad for not being able to text him today. I never kept him waiting. Quickly, he replied back.

'I assumed you had one hell of a day. Tell me all about it when I get there. Running a few errands before I get there. See you soon loves. And you will never love me more than I love you.'

I smiled even wider at his last message and couldn't help but make a noise like I was seeing my favorite singer in concert. I quickly hearted his message and sent him a few hearts. I checked Lucy's messaged and seen she was also going to be running late coming home as well, after I replied, I quickly turned on my car and threw it in drive and began to rush home so I could be ready for Jared when he arrived.

I got home within ten minutes of driving and began to go inside. I left all my paperwork and other work related things in the car knowing I needed to do it, but not really caring. I just wanted to forget about work for the rest of the day. As I got inside, I dropped my bag at the door and took my shoes off. The house was a bit chilly since no heater was on and nobody was home. A small smell still lingered of bacon from this morning's breakfast that Lucy and I shared. I went to my bedroom, grabbed some clothes, and quickly went to shower. I took a pretty fast shower. Normally I took a bit of time, but I guess I was just eager to be ready for Jared to be here. I cleaned up the bathroom then went to the living room to relax before he got here.
