"Jack! Yu came!"
"I did promise, didn't I Princess?"
That earns me a slap across the face.
"Yu know, I don't understan' why I've missed yu so much. Why, dat snowflake yu carved in meh bow is now meh favorite part of it!"
Woah. She almost killed me- literally- when I did that. She must really miss me.
"How's Hiccup?"
Flashback:
"Jack!"
"Hey Hiccup! And Painful."
*growl*
"I've missed you so much!"
*annoyed gurgle*
"Yeah! I've missed you too!"
"How's everything going for everybody?"
"Well, North's doing great, preparing for Christmas and stuff. I haven't really seen anyone else lately."
"Tell everyone that I said hi."
"Of course! But for now... Snowball fight!"
I form a snowball and peg him in the face, causing Painful to fire at me. Laughing, I spiral up into the air and, with a wave of my staff, cause snow to cover the ground where they are.
"You are so going down!"
"I'm the spirit of winter! Good luck!"
End of flashback.
"I'm glad heh's happy."
"Yeah, me too. And you're doing good?"
"Meh brothers are wee Devils, meh mum is startin' ta talk about suitors, and meh dad is doin' jus' fine."
"Boy I wish I could take you with me."
"Meh too."
"Well..." I take a deep breath. "Well North wants me to only come see you guys about once a year."
"What?!"
I sigh sadly.
"I know. Something about, 'ignoring my duties', or 'making it harder for you to move on'."
"Oh."
"Yeah. But once every year, I will come."
"I know yu will. Well... Well for now, c'mon inside. Meh brothers have been askin' 'bout yu!"

"Goodbye!"
"Goodbye!"
"I'll come back next year!"
"Cross yur heart?"
"And hope to die."
"Don't think dat I've forgotten dat favor yu owe me for helpin' yu get yur staff back."
I smile and then fly off, fighting tears as I leave my friend for another long while.
I slowly fly toward Corona, and into the woods where we found Rapunzel's tower. I wasn't conscious at the time we found it before, but I still manage to find it.
And here I sit, and will sit. For she is my friend. Though I must stay out of her sight, she I can still watch. I sigh, and settle back.
