Elliott looked over at the couch rica was on, she was fast asleep as everyone else was getting the stuff they needed before they left to Wakanda.

Rica's was still in wolf form, her brown fur reflected the light from the lap next to her.

Elliott picked her up carefully to not wake her, he walked over to Wanda. "Hay, you should carry her to the jet."

Wanda looked kind nervous. "But, Uh what if I hurt her?"

Elliott grinned. "Your acting like she's a baby. She's been through worse anyways." Wanda sighed nodding slowly as she took rica into her arms.

"See not that hard." Wanda smiled placing a kiss in between Rica's ears as she walked out of the room.

"So, you been good, Elliott." Rhodey walked back into the room, a slight frown on his face. "I Hurd about everything that happened. I'm sorry."

Elliott smiled at his friend. "Don't worry about it, it's over and we're alive." Elliott's voice was uncertain, Elliott knew he lost a lot more then he wanted, a home for shifters was threatened, and not everyone made it home.

"Well, I know it was hard, I can guess you lost people but I'm glad your here." Rhodey patted Elliott's shoulder before walking past him.

Elliott watched him walk out the room before leaning onto the kitchen table, letting out a dry sigh as he let his mind wonder around the place.

First he's fighting a war for freedom and now a threat from space. His world can't get anymore crazy.

"Come on babe, we need to go." Natasha wrapped her arms around his waist from behind, placing her head on his shoulder. "You okay?"

Elliott chuckled, the sound always made Natasha feel a certain way as she held him, the feelings of his heart beat calmed her knowing he was alive. "I feel like you ask me every day." Elliott turned around to face her. "Even when I say I'm okay, you always make sure I am. If you know what I mean."

Natasha laughed lightly leaning in placing a kiss onto Elliott's lips. Elliott placed his hands onto her waist holding onto her for dear life.

The sound of someone clearing their voice made them pull away slowly from the kiss, looking over to see Bruce standing awkwardly by the door. "Uh, the jet is Um ready."

Elliott nodded. "We'll be there."

Bruce nodded walking out of the door. Natasha let go of Elliott walking over to the door. "You coming?" She turned back to Elliott who was still standing by the table.

"Yeah, just give me a minute." Natasha nodded walking out of the living room. Elliott walked over the the bookshelf he was looking at earlier, finding a small black box.
