Chapter 16- Boat

   Wei Ying watched from Xingchen's lap as the two servants killed all the Wen soldiers. The women finished and stood next to Madam Yu, Lingjiao who was watching with wide eyes said, "Do you think you can bury the truth by killing me? Do you think Young Master Wen doesn't know I'm here? Let me tell you, Young Master Wen will be here soon."
    "You're talking like you're sparing us right now," Jinzhu said.
    "Do you know that I am one of Young Master Wen's people? I'm the closest to him!" Lingjiao screamed, "If he finds out what you did to me, he will absolutely-!"
    "So what?" Madam Yu yelled, "Chop off our hands and legs? Burn down our mansion? Send out an army of 10,000 people to reduce out Lotus Pier into ruins? Or set up the Supervisory Office?" She looked at her servants who walked forward slowly.
   The woman had a dark and dangerous aura to them, murderous. Lingjiao yelled at them, "Stay away from me! What do you want? Stop there! Wen Zhuliu! Wen Zhuliu save me!"
    A man came in through the window just as the women were about to stab Lingjiao. They looked up and raised their knives, but Zhuliu kicked both of them away.
    "Core-Melting Hand?" Madam Yu spat.
    "Violet Spider," Zhuliu replied calmly.
    "Wen Zhuliu, what are you waiting for? Kill her! Do you see what she did to me?" Lingjiao said.
    "Your original name was Zhao Zhuliu, right?" Madam Yu asked, "It wasn't Wen, so you desperately want to change your surname. How can the surname Wen be so precious that it made you betray your ancestors?"
    "I'm just serving my master," Zhuliu said. 
    "Wen Zhuliu, why are you still talking? Don't you see the situation I'm in? Young Master Wen sent you to protect me. You better watch out, I'll report you!" Lingjiao said standing up.
    Zhuliu bowed to Madam Yu, "Excuse my offense."
    The woman paid no mind and her Zidian cackled. She lashed at the whip at Zhuliu who caught it easily with one hand. He pulld it towards him and held it while Lingjiao ran to the door.
   "Jiang Cheng, go stop her!" Wei Ying said. Jiang Cheng nodded and ran outside to where the woman was, he hit her back using his spiritual energy causing the woman to fall to the ground.
    "Madam Yu watch out!" Xingchen and Wei Ying yelled. Jiang Cheng turned around and saw Zhuliu getting close to his mother, he ran over and raised a hand to hit the man's back the same way he hit Lingjiao.
   But Zhuliu saw it. He turned his hand around and hit Jiang Cheng's chest, causing the man to spit out blood and fall back.
    Lingjiao took this opportunity to let out a signal, "Come quickly!" She yelled.
    Madam Yu saw this and nodded at her servants. The women nodded and took out their whips, aiming at Zhuliu, while Madam Yu left.
   The woman grabbed Wei Ying and Xingchen's arm and brought them outside where she grabbed Jiang Cheng. She flew to the where the boats outside where and pushed them inside, she climbed in and grabbed Jiang Cheng's wrist.
    She checked the pulse and said, "The wound is not severe."
    "Mother," Jiang Cheng said, "what should we do?"
    "Don't you see that they are prepared? Many people will arrive soon," Madam Yunsaid sharply, "you go first."
    "What if Clan Leader Jiang and Yanli-" Wei Ying started.
    "You shut up!" Madam Yu yelled, "It's all your fault!" She turned to Jiang Cheng and grabbed his hand, and watched as her Zidian went to his hand.
    "Mother, why are you giving me the Zidian?" Jiang Cheng asked.
    "The Zidian has accepted you as it's master now," Madam Yu said.
    Jiang Cheng looked at the Zidian before looking back up, "Mother, can't you go with us?"
    Madam Yu's face twisted in sadness and pain as she brought her son into a tight embrace. They both had tears in their eyes and they hugged for a brief moment.
    Xingchen and Wei Ying looked at each other. Madam Yu let go of Jiang Cheng and turned to Wei Ying, "You damn boy!" She yelled, "You-!" She stopped when she saw Xingchen looking at her in disappointment.
    She instead decided to not speak and threw Wei Ying down, Xingchen catching him. She stood up and started to walk away but was held back by Jiang Cheng, "Mother, can't you go with us?" The woman yanked her arm away and walked to the dock.
    Jiang Cheng stood up and tried to go after her but was pulled back by Zidian. It had tied Xingchen, Wei Ying, and Jiang Cheng together tightly.
   "It'll loosen when it's safe," Madam Yu said, "if you encounter someone, it will protect you. Listen up Wei Ying! Protect Jiang Cheng with your own life, alright?"
    "Madam Yu!" Wei Ying called out, teary eyed.
    "Stop wasting time! Do you understand or not?" The woman yelled, Wei Ying nodded. She looked at Xingchen who nodded, she understood what he said even without hearing the words. She pushed the boat with her foot and threw a talisman as it floated away.
   "Mother!" Jiang Cheng yelled, "Mother! Mother! Mother!" The man struggled against the holds while Wei Ying and Xingchen sat still, "Mother!"
    They floated out into the water with Jiang Cheng struggling and thrashing around, he called for Madam Yu but it was no use. 
    Xingchen was staring out into the water when he got a thought, "Where's Xue Yang?" He asked.
    "He was with us when we were shooting kites," Wei Ying said with teary eyes, "I don't know what happened to him."
    "No...damn it!" Xingchen tried to get out if the holds but couldn't. He took out a small blade from his sleeve and tried to cut the whip, only for the blade to end up cut in half.
    "Did you do it?" Jiang Cheng asked.
    "No, it's broke the blade!" Xingchen began to panic, "Xue Yang...he's still out there! All of them are!"
     Wei Ying looked out to the side and said softly, "Jiang Cheng, Uncle, look," he nodded towards the water and the two men looked.
   There was a boat coming their way with Yanli and Sect Leader Jiang.
