"Jiang Cheng!" Wei Ying called, "Are you ready?"
"Yeah," the man replied, "I'm ready, let's go." The men walked to their boat outside where Xue Yang and Xingchen were waiting, they were wearing the Jiang Sect's clothes and Xingchen had his white mask on.
"Uncle, Xue Yang, are you ready?" Wei Ying asked.
"Yes," they both responded in union, and laughed softly.
"Let's go," Wei Ying said, he got on a boat with Jiang Cheng while Xingchen and Xue Yang took another boat.
Xingchen was standing up with Xue Yang behind him, he was gazing into the water in front of the boat when he felt arms wrap around his waist, "Xue Yang, what are you doing?"
"I do this with Wei Wuxian also, don't worry," Xue Yang said, the lie slipping through his lips easily. He nuzzled his face into Xingchen's neck who giggled.
"It tickles," Xingchen said. Xue Yang smiled and sniffed the man, he smelled like rain and the forest, fresh and sweet.
"You smell good," Xue Yang said, his voice muffled.
"Thank you," Xingchen said smiling. He was a bit shocked because rarely anyone had ever hugged him. Song Lan was never the type to hug and be touchy with anyone, so he never really hugged Xingchen. And he doesn't remember much of his childhood, so he doesn't know if he got hugged or not.
Xue Yang rested his head on Xingchen's shoulder, "You'd make a good pillow," he said.
"I'll take that as a compliment," Xingchen chuckled.
"It was," Xue Yang said. He saw a man staring at them and glared at him, the man looked away and rubbed the back if his neck. Xue Yang realized that what he was doing was drawing a lot of attention. He smirked at an idea.
He turned to Xingchen, "Hope you don't mind," he said, and without letting the man respond he licked a stripe on Xingchen's neck up to behind his ear.
"Xue Yang!" Xingchen said, "What did I say before?"
"Relax, I'm only showing people to stop staring," Xue Yang whispered, he licked the spot behind Xingchen's ear causing the man to shiver.
"Not there," Xingchen said, his jaw clenched, "just my neck and jaw, not there."
"Why not?" Xue Yang asked playfully, "Is that spot sensitive?"
"Yeah, so don't do it there," Xingchen said, keeping his face composed and calm.
"Fine," Xue Yang said and began sucking on the spot harshly.
Xingchen reached behind him and grabbed onto Xue Yang, "Stop it!" He whisper yelled.
Xue Yang looked down in between them, "Xiao Xingchen, let go," he said in a dark voice.
The man glanced behind him and saw that he was gripping Xue Yang's front, he let go quickly, "S-sorry," he stammered.
"Is this how you react when I only suck on a sensitive spot?" Xue Yang asked huskily, "What happens if I do more, darling?"
Xingchen swallowed, "Nothing, besides you won't do more."
"Who says I won't?" Xue Yang asked teasingly.
"Me," Xingchen said and wiggled out of Xue Yang's grips.
"Why'd you leave?" Xue Yang whined.
"You're going to go too far," Xingchen said sitting down on the side of the boat. Xue Yang sat down next to him and smiled wickedly.
"Am I? Because I'm sure this isn't 'far' at all," Xue Yang said, "'far' would be teasing you until you can't hold back. It would be you crying and begging and whimpering a-"
"Alright I get it!" Xingchen exclaimed, he looked to his side and turned a bright crimson.
"Are you sure you get it?" Xue Yang asked, "You seem a little embarrassed with me just talking about it."
"Shut up," Xingchen said, "I don't want to hear another word out of you for the rest of this trip."
"Fine," Xue Yang said, "but if I am quiet for the whole time, you owe me something."
"Deal," Xingchen said, thinking that man wouldn't be quiet. But what he didn't know was that, the deal he just made would change his life forever.

They arrived at the camp where they were sorted by their clans. Xingchen and Xue Yang went with the Jiang Clan, they were standing behind Jiang Cheng and Wei Ying.
"Where's Lan Zhan?" Wei Ying asked.
"I don't know, but it's probably a good thing he isn't here," Jiang Cheng said, "he has a piece of the Yin Iron. He might be hiding."
"Maybe, but something doesn't feel right," Wei Ying said.
"Mayb-" Xingchen was cut off by a man yelling.
"Second Young Master Wen is here!" Wen Chao walked in arrogantly with two men. One of them yelled, "Second Young Master Wen has arrived!"
Wen Chao scanned over the crowd, and Wei Ying played with his sword. "Look at yourselves, you all look like sleepy, mangy dogs." Wei Ying and Xue Yang scoffed, at the statement but were shocked at his next, "Why the hell don't you bring him over?"
Everyone looked back at the sound of footsteps and saw the man they never expected to see. Wangji.
The man in white gracefully walked down the path with two men guarding him. "Lan Zhan," Wei Ying whispered, "Lan Zhan!"
"Wei Wuxian," Jiang Cheng said, "don't cause any trouble. As long as he is fine, you'll get the chance to ask him about everything later."
The man didn't listen, "Lan Zhan," when Wangji didn't answer sighed, "Lan Zhan!"
"Silence, no talking," a man said.
Wen Chao was smiling as he paced around, "Since you are all here in Qishan, you will have to follow the rules. First, during the indoctrination, no one is allowed to carry weapons, in case of disturbing his Excellency. Hand in your swords one by one."
Everyone looked up in shock and dismay. Wangji clenched his own as did Jin Zixuan. Wei Ying shifted his weight to his other foot and Jiang Cheng held his arm tightly, "Why are you holding me?"
"I fear that you will cause trouble," Jiang Cheng said.
"Relax," Wei Ying said, "although I am disgusted by Wen Chao, I'm not going to bring trouble this time." Some men walked forward with sword holders, he stuck out his sword and said, "Here you go," a man took his sword and placed it in the holder.
Jiang Cheng sighed but stuck his out too, when the man grabbed it he held on for a second longer before letting it go.
The man walked to Wangji who also gave it to him. Wei Ying looked at him in shock, "Lan Zhan."
The men walked down the row to Zixuan who moved his sword back, "The Jin Clan stands with our swords, if you want them you will have to take us with you."
"You dare challenge him?" Wen Chao asked.
"Young Master Wen, we are here to be indoctrinated, do not push it too far."
Wen Chao chuckled and walked down the stairs in front of him, "See shat I was talking about? Some of you already have bad intentions, am I right?"
Everyone stood on their guard as he got closer, wary without their swords. Xingchen and Xue Yang had hidden their swords so they didn't have to give them up.
He turned to Wangji, "Second Young Master Lan," he said before turning back to everyone else, "some of you, and not just the Lan Clan of Gusu, are trying to stage a coup. You are one of the rebels! Soldiers, take him into custody," he said pointing at Zixuan.
The man was about to draw his sword when MianMian stepped forward, "Young Master!" She warned before turning to Wen Chao, and bowing, "Please forgive him for this, it is the Jin Clan's precept, our Young Master has no intention of offending you. I beg you for forgiveness."
"MianMian, there's no need to beg for forgiveness," Zixuan said, "there are no cowards in the Jin Clan."
Wen Chao walked forward in front if the woman slowly, "You do look pretty, what is your name?"
MianMian took a step back, "Young Master Wen, the Wen Clan and the Jin Clan have always been close. Upon our departure, our clan leader has instructed us not to neglect the Wen's commandments, decrees, and statues."
"All right," Wen Chao said after a while, "for your sake, I will pardon your young master this time."
"Thank you," the woman said bowing.
"Take his sword," Wen Chao said as he walked away. Zixuan hesitated a while longer before finally giving the men his swords. Wen Chao walked up the stairs and said, "Here is a book for everyone, it goes over everything you must know about the Wen Clan and the clan leader. You must memorize them to heart and tomorrow I will ask someone to recite them. Those who cannot will be punished by clan rules."
Jiang Cheng turned to Wei Ying and Xue Yang, "Are you two going to do it?" He asked.
"Yes!" Wei Ying said loudly, "Most definitely."
"And I am going to take a hard look..." Xue Yang said.
Wei Ying finished his sentence in a quiet whisper, "To see how sick the Wen Clan of Qishan can be."
